About this property
Seahorses, Brancaster, Norfolk
Only a ten minute walk from Brancaster's glorious beach, Seahorses is a super ground floor apartment situated in the iconic Dormy House; a former country house hotel, now divided into quality apartments. With cool Scandi style interiors offering easy restful living, this hideaway is in a truly enviable location.
Seahorses has a simple, calming and rather luxurious vibe with just a hint of a coastal theme, and is the perfect place for one, two or three adults seeking a quiet bolt hole to escape to for a chilled out break. If active holidays are more your thing, there is plenty of walking, cycling, exploring locally or further afield to be found close by. Well laid out, comfortable and well-equipped, this single storey apartment has two bedrooms (a king-size and small double for single occupancy), a spacious bathroom with the choice of a bath and a large walk-in shower, and an adjoining cloakroom with further washing facilities. The sitting room is a lovely place to relax, and the smart fitted kitchen has the convenience of its own dining area. Dormy House has a communal laundry with washers and dryers available for guests to use on a first-come first-served basis.
Located just off the beach road in Brancaster, you have the advantage of being tucked away from the busy hustle and bustle of this popular coastal village, and can enjoy the peace of a large communal garden if you don 't feel like going too far. Brancaster Stores and Post Office houses a brilliant deli and coffee shop, as well as stocking plenty of every day goods. Brancaster Village Hall hosts Bar 71 where good times, drinks, friends and fun are served. It is the social heart of Brancaster village offering a licenced, family friendly bar with the cheapest drinks along the coast, and a calendar of monthly events including live music, discos, quiz nights, bingo, skittles and poker tournaments. Adjacent is five acres of playing fields, including two full size goals, a childrens playground along with equipment designed to help coordination and balance, and a family area with picnic tables. There are also new tennis courts. Brancaster offers something for everyone!
