About this property

Why choose GracePointe Valley? Read our reviews!

Come enjoy the incredible beauty of the Smoky Mountains at GracePointe Valley! The air is fresh, the trails are beckoning, and the creeks are rolling! If the cabin's cozy atmosphere and outdoor fire pit and swing don’t get you in the mood, the lights, activities, and excitement of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge surely will!

Our 3BR/2BA log cabin, located in the heart of Wears Valley, offers just what you're looking for in a Smoky Mountain get-away. The prime location means you're only minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains park boundary as well as minutes from the fun and excitement of Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. It really IS the best of both worlds! And the biggest plus of all? Backroads everywhere to help you avoid traffic and congestion!

GracePointe Valley is our family cabin, purchased Spring 2017, and replaces our former cabin (GracePointe of Gatlinburg) that was destroyed in the 2016 wildfires. This new cabin is located in an area unaffected by the 2016 wildfires and the mountains surrounding it are beautiful, green and untouched. We have completely renovated and updated this cabin and continue to make improvements. New mattresses, linens, and furniture are just the starting point. All cabinetry has been refinished (yes, that "distressed" look is intentional) and new hardwood floors have been installed. As more and more guests discover GracePointe Valley, our positive reviews increase. Come see what they're talking about! :-)

With a queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, queen beds in each of the two upstairs bedrooms, and a full bath on each floor, you'll have plenty of room for everyone in the family. There's even a set of child-sized (note: "child-sized"...meaning kids, not teenagers. Beds are 33 X70 inches as compared with standard twins which are 30 X 74 inches) bunk beds in the upstairs landing, making a fun spot for the kiddos.

The kitchen is completely stocked with new dishes, flatware, and cookware. And there's a laundry room (washer & dryer) for your convenience. Cable television and internet are also provided.

We continue to improve the exterior of the cabin and even added a firepit area, complete with firewood, stacked and ready to go. (What other cabin offers a firepit and supplies your firewood? Not many, I assure you! Don't forget to pack the marshmallows!) You can even sit in the hot tub near the firepit! And we just added a swing by the firepit, too! (Can you tell we love the firepit?) A charcoal grill and outdoor dining set means dinner on the deck is a must! Other considerations include ample parking, a wrap-around deck, rocking chairs, a porch swing, and a hot tub. In other words, pretty much everything you need to relax, refresh, and renew.

New photos are being added to our VRBO page as improvement are made. Improvements completed last summer include: renovated bathrooms, the kids bunk area, and the cabin exterior. All bedding is new in all bedrooms and bedroom furniture is new in both upstairs bedrooms. (As a side note, all mattresses are encased to protect against any type of infestation.) The large living room includes new leather sofa and love seat with new hardwood flooring throughout.

Please note: GracePointe Valley is located in a quiet, mostly residential area and is definitely NOT a "party cabin." If your vacation plans include hosting loud outdoor parties, you will want to consider another property as you will not find GracePointe Valley to be a good fit for your group. On the other hand, if you're looking for the perfect spot to relax with a good book, enjoy a quiet evening around the firepit, or sweet family/friend dinner time on the deck, then GracePointe Valley is the perfect spot!

If time around the pool is on your vacation list, we also provide access to a nearby pool and fishing pond for your enjoyment! You'll receive access info to Honeysuckle Meadows pool and pond after booking.

Great family Christmas getaway!

We had a great time at GracePointe! It was such a cute property and in excellent condition. Also very clean and had the best supplied cleaning products and most well-stocked kitchen we have ever encountered in our 10 years of Christmas trips. We would definitely recommend this cute little cabin!

Great cabin in a great location

We had a great stay during our kids spring break. The cabin was everything they said and very clean. The driveway was a tiny bit steep, but fully paved and manageable with a handy turn around spot. One of the best surprises was the location. We have been to the Sevierville area many times, but never stayed in Wear Valley. Even though we didn't have mountain views, the Valley was very beautiful and completely quiet. I would never have guessed how many great stores and restaurants were available just a few minutes away from the cabin. We really liked the Sloppy Hog Burger Joint. It was great to have places to grab breakfast or dinner without having to go into the busy tourist areas. And when we did go out, it was only a nice 20 minute drive to Parkway. We will keep this cabin in mind for future trips.

MN family coming to see the Smokies

If you’re looking for a quiet place away from the traffic of Gatlinburg, this is it! A beautiful spacious, clean cabin with lots of outside seating on a fabulous porch. We had long days hiking and looked forward to relaxing at this home at the end of the day. Excellent communication with the owners. I’d definitely stay again.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay at GracePointe Valley. Everything was as described and worked great for our family. The location was fantastic for everything we did. We even had the pleasure of seeing a bear one evening when we pulled in the driveway. The size was great for our family of four, plus the in-laws. We had no issues that we needed to contact the owner. They provided all the information we needed prior to check-in. We would stay here again.

Wonderful week

The home was perfect. They even provided paper towels, toilet paper and tons of spices and other pantry staples. The owner responded quickly when we needed to call him about the low firewood situation and he delivered it himself. The fireplace and hottub were the selling points. We would definitely stay here again.

The perfect Cabincation!

GracePointe Valley was the perfect hidden gem for our Labor Day weekend family get away. It was exactly as advertised. The owners were prompt with responses prior to our arrival and we didn’t have any issues while we were there. We made use of the coffee provided and added to the collection for future guests. We didn’t have to travel more than 20 minutes to visit Pigeon Forge or hike the Smokies. We really enjoyed winding down each evening with dinner or games around the dining room table.

Best Family Vacay!

We rented this property for a family vacation with our two grown daughters and our son-in-law. It was perfect for what we needed. The area was close to downtown and the attractions and restaurants we visited, but secluded enough for private family time. Everything we needed was included in the property, even extra paper towels and toilet tissue! We enjoyed the hot tub, games, and the coffee bar was amazing. We had a need to reach out to the owners as we left something behind and Michael was kind enough to send it back to us promptly. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the area.

Amazing Stay at Grace Pointe!

Words cannot expressed how completely pleased we were with this cabin. It was such a blessing during a very difficult year. The cabin was super clean and very well stocked. Even though it is only minutes away from everything, it is still secluded to where you feel like you are the only ones around. The owners were beyond accommodating and truly cared about making our stay absolutely perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this cabin and we will certainly be back!

Beautiful and clean!

The cabin was way better than the pictures are able to show! It was very clean and well supplied. The owners were easy to rent from. This was the easiest cabin to get to that we have ever rented in the Smokies. Part of our party had never been to the Smokies before and did not know what to expect. They were blown away by how great the cabin was. They couldn't believe it! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

Just what we've been searching for...

Our extended family has been gathering in Pigeon Forge every year for over twenty years, and we've stayed at different properties nearly every visit. As you might imagine, we've had a variety of experiences, some better than others. I can honestly say this has been my favorite cabin so far! We were here for a summer gathering this time so we spent most of our visit by the campfire, but the inside of this property has everything you could ever want for a rainy day as well. We will be back!

Grace Pointe Perfect

Close your eyes and imagine the most inviting, quiet, peaceful log cabin you can - and you’ll know what this cabin is like. Close to everything so you can pick up groceries and go do the tourist stuff you want, but come back to peace and solitude. Everything from the stocked coffee bar, to the outdoor furniture, to books and games are waiting to welcome you back to relax after a long, fun filled day day of hiking and exploring. Simple check in process (they send you the code and info you need), responsive owners (who even give you tips where to go). I couldn’t imagine our stay going any smoother and being more enjoyable.

Wonderfully private

This is a perfect location to be near the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, or the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains without being in the middle of it. We chose this cabin because of it's location and the fact that it has a fire pit. We enjoyed every morning with coffee by the fire and every evening with wine by the fire. There is nothing more enjoyable than sitting by a fire with your friends and family talking and laughing. We chose to stay out of the touristy areas, which by car, with traffic, could take up to at least 30 minutes to drive to.

Beautiful and Relaxing

We stayed here for our 29th Anniversary. We had a very relaxing time. The property is beautiful and very well kept. Our only complaint is we did not have enough time here. Word of warning though....the acorns are deadly! They are huge! My poor husband got hit on the head first night, and sitting in the hot tub was interesting when the wind rustled. Never saw such big acorns! We will be coming back!

About the host

Host profile image
We (Mike & Micki) love the Smoky Mountains and love sharing our place with others who love the mountains. We owned our first cabin, GracePointe of Gatlinburg, for over 25 years. However, as our children grew up, married, then started having children of their own, we knew it was time for a larger cabin. We sold GracePointe of Gatlinburg shortly before the 2016 wildfires. Unfortunately, the new owners never had the opportunity to enjoy the cabin as it was destroyed in the fire. We had another cabin under contract at the time, but it was also in the fire's path. As you can imagine, we were devastated. Thankfully, we found a sweet cabin in quiet, peaceful Wears Valley and were happy to finally settle down in a new-to-us log cabin that we named GracePointe Valley.

What makes this property unique

There are so many things that make us happy about GracePointe Valley. One example, the location...Wears Valley lies between Pigeon Forge and Townsend. Seven miles either direction from the cabin and you'll either find yourself smack-dab in the middle of shopping, attractions, & restaurants (Pigeon Forge) or you'll find yourself on "the peaceful side of the Smokies" (Townsend) and with easy access to historic and beautiful Cades Cove. The park boundary is literally seven minutes from the cabin with the Metcalf Bottoms picnic area located on the cool, clear Little River. The Little Greenbriar School trailhead starts in Metcalf Bottoms. There are backroads everywhere, which means lots of options when trying to avoid sitting in traffic.

Another thing that makes us happy is the space, both inside and out. Lots of room inside for families to gather, plus the cabin sits on an acre lot and has ample parking. We even built a firepit for those lazy evenings when you just want to relax and enjoy your time in the mountains.
