Enjoy the view out of the 10 ft sliding glass door right from your bed! There is also a roomy guest suite with private bath. Live in the lap of luxury with central air, two large high def flat screen LCD TV's, cable TV, WIFI, a deck that spans the length of the house, and a large screened in porch complete with table and bar.

Located in Suissevale Estates, renters have access to a beautiful private beach (5 minute walk), boat launch, volleyball court, tennis courts, basketball court, 2 playgrounds, and a public golf course 2 miles away.

Our home is also available for fall and winter rentals. The fall foliage in this region is hard to beat. Enjoy a scenic drive up to the mountains or a nice hike. There are many major downhill ski resorts within a hour of the home. There is also some of the best cross country skiing, ice fishing, ice skating, sledding, and snowmobiling in the country. It's also a great place to just sit back and relax in a winter wonderland. Multiple week rentals available.

We are located minutes from the world famous Castle In The Clouds that includes incredible hiking trails and a view of the lakes region that you will never forget!

Great location! Close to beach.Beautiful home

Great house for adult family

We have three grown and their partners. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our time. So many choices just on/near property. Comfortable. We also enjoyed excellent motorcycle rides while staying.

This is a roomy home in a quiet neighborhood. The extra rooms were all appreciated. We ate indoors and outdoors (once).Kitchen had everything we. needed and refrigerator was large. The beach walk is quite doable. We did it with 5yr old, 3yr old and 18 mos old in a stroller. The beach was well attended and feels safe with all the extra people, but not right on top of each other. Neighbors were super friendly and helpful. Even to offer help carrying items to our car that did transports. We had a great stay. We went to Weirs Beach one day, Castle in the Clouds, Wolfeboro to shop on the rain day, we utilized the playgrounds and tennis courts and THE Beach!! It was a memorable vacation. We were pleased.

Quiet Location, Truly Relaxing

Very large house with all of the amenities you could possibly need. Plenty of parking and a garage to store chairs, floats, fishing gear, etc. Easy communication with the owner for any questions. Five-minute walk to a nice, small private beach, with excellent fishing in the neighboring channel/creek. Suggestion-- get to the beach before 10am and you'll get the spot you desire. After that, it can get a bit busy. There's a convenience store (Skelley's Market) about 5-7 mins away that has most quick things, along with a deli, bait, beer, wine, etc. Bigger grocery stores are in Center Harbor and Meredith, which are 20-30 minutes away. Evenings gathered on the large front deck around the gas firepit, with a great view of the Lake, capped off most evenings to end each great day. The weekly cost (Sat. to Sat.) was a little higher than most; but the condition of the house, the amenities, and the area were certainly worth the stay. Many great memories made!

Memories Made

This was one of the nicest vacations our family has had. Every year our family (4 adult couples and 2 grandchildren ages 4 and 1yr.) vacation for a week together. Our destinations have included Cape Cod and Newport R.I. This year we stayed on Winnipesaukee. We all agreed that this year was the best vacation we have had together. The house was beautiful. It is very spacious and the pictures do not do it any justice. The home was well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The beach was close by with an easy walk. (300 steps from the corner of the property to the beach parking lot) We frequently had family dinners at the beach. We used the picnic tables and grills available on the beach grounds. Many evenings we sat on the deck of the house at the gas fire pit then used the screened porch to play cards. My grand kids loved the bubble bath they had in the jacuzzi tub. The adults loved the view of the lake from every room. Bonnie (the owner of the home) was nearby and very available with any requests we had. Truly a wonderful week. Would love to stay their again next year.

Relaxing

Our family of eight adults just had a great week in this spacious home. There was plenty of room inside and out for all of us to be together or just relax by ourselves. Bonnie, the host was very prompt in getting back to us, if we had any questions. The beach was beautiful and just a short walk from the house. We had a great week!

Tremendous vacation

My wife and I treat our growing family to a vacation every year. This year we were fortunate to find this gem. The house was spacious and had all the amenities we desired and then some. From relaxing on the decks overlooking the water or late night card games in the screened in porch, this vacation was a treat. The real gem was its location. We had our 2 grandchildren (ages 3 and under) and the house was a very short walk to the lake/playground area. The beach area was clean and safe for the kids. Without a doubt we would come back here again!

Stay in Moultenborough

My husband and 6 our of our friends stayed in this beautiful, spacious house for a week! It had lake views, was peaceful and not much traffic. The house was fully stocked and we had everything we needed. The house owner was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating, if we needed anything at all!! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time! Super clean and more than enough space for multiple families to spread out. Very short walk to the beach, my 4 year old son walked every day without a complaint. Would definitely rent again.

Bonnie's Lakehouse

It was a wonderful week. The house is very spacious, elegant, and well furnished, with lovely gardens and deck, a very short walk from the private community beach. The kitchen is exceptionally well provisioned. Bonnie was extremely prompt and gracious in responding to inquiries. We've rented a bunch of houses over the years and I think this was the most comfortable and enjoyable!

Spacious but would argue with the word "luxury"

We really enjoyed the location of the property in Moultonborough and the private beach and playground area was terrific for my grandchildren. Only a very short walk to the beach meant that we didn't have to purchase a parking pass. Although the house is grand and spacious, I cannot support the word "luxury" when describing this property. The first thing we saw was the badly stained and tattered living room slip-covered couches. When I entered the kitchen, I found a tea kettle coated with grease and grim sitting right out on the top of the stove. The carpets were significantly stained and one had a hole in it. The gas grill outside was so rusted that my son refused to use it. Every morning before sitting at the outside table, we had to brush off the roof gravel and shingle debris that fell from the roof overnight. The chaise loungers on the deck were both broken. My thought would be that some folks will be happy to have a large house in a great location, but consider that your expectations for luxury might not be reached.

The property was absolutely wonderful.

We had a great experience staying here.The place was clean,very well equipped.The owner,Bonnie was super nice.We rented a pontoon boat and kayaks local.We brought two Harleys,great riding.Harley dealer close by.There was nothing we were unhappy with.We will be reserving a return visit next year.We have found a home away from home.

Family Vacation

The minute we entered our rental home for the week we knew it was exactly as the website stated and more. We rent every year with my brother's family at the ocean, so the lake house was a new experience. Everything from the view from all of the rooms, to the fully stocked kitchen, was more than we expected. The owners were polite and respectful to work with. We had teenagers with us so having two livings rooms made it easy for them to relax and the grow-ups to sit in chat in another area. The second living room also provided us space to move the teenagers in with us for family game nights. The lake was beautiful and so close if you wanted to walk back to the house to relax you could. Thank you Colby's for adding to our tradition of family vacation and making it a wonderful memory.

The Best First Annual Family Vacation!!

Our family consists of my husband and myself, three grown children and their spouses, and one 21 month grandson. When we arrived, Bonnie Colby came to the house to greet us with the keys, and she was so incredibly, warm and friendly. We stayed from August 8th, 2015 to August 15th, 2015. The house is so absolutely gorgeous with its many views of the lake and it is so well maintained. Everything you needed was available including fresh clean linens, great cookware, a myriad of spices, staples,and paper products....we did not want for anything! Hannaford's Supermarket was really close, and it is an exceptional store that has everything you could possibly need. The four bedrooms where large and nicely decorated. The best part of the rooms was that all four rooms had queen sized beds, which is hard to find with a large family in a rental home. The beach's sand and water were so very clean, and the water was the perfect temperature. The beach is just a five minute walk and my children easily carried their kayak and water boards down to the dock that was to the right of the beach. However, if you have someone who cannot walk, (Like my husband who had a broken leg this summer), Bonnie provided us with a beach pass so that we could park right at the beach. For my grandson there was a large playground and sand box right at the beach, which he really loved. Inside the garage there were even some beach chairs and floats...although we brought our own. There were so many activities to do in the town and the surrounding towns. Bonnie has a nice basket on her dinning room table with lots of brochures with things to do in the area. It was a real plus!! We attended a wonderful craft fair on Friday, of that week that was about 20 minutes away. We brought home lots interesting gifts for friends and family. There were so many things to do that we never even got a chance to do a fraction of them. as we enjoyed the beach so much! We hope to come back again next year!! We highly recommend the Colby home...we are sure you will not find anything more wonderful. And one more major thing...the house was child- friendly which was so important to us. Wonderfull Long Weekend

We love the Winnepesaukee area and wanted to take our family..kids and grandkids away for the weekend. It turned out to be a treat for everyone. The house is great, plenty of room for everyone and so kid friendly. The location is beautiful with a short walk to the very nice beach area complete with playground, We loved it and would love to come back again!

Great for young families

We stayed at this wonderful home for 3 summers with our 3 children and now will be going back, after having our 4th. The house is beautiful and kid-friendly. It is walking-distance from the beach, even with young ones in tow, and is in easy striking range of many activity destinations. With a young family, vacations sometimes be more tiring than fun. However, with this house and this location, both adults and kids came home relaxed!

Home away from home

Spacious, sunny, well-maintained, comfortable, and easy to live in with young children, the Colby's beautiful house has hosted our family's one-week summer gathering for three years. The Colby's have thoughtfully provided everything we need for babies and toddlers. We love walking down to the beach, playing in the yard, barbecuing on the deck, cooking together in the spacious, well-equipped kitchen, and just hanging out together on the screened-in porch. As for attractions, we take the Mt. Washington boat ride every year, and the grandkids especially love FunSpot, the funky arcade nearby. The Colby's house is the perfect home base, because it feels like home! Each year, as we're packing up to leave, the grandkids ask when we're coming back to "our house" in New Hampshire!
