Amazing location! We loved the beach, rock hunting and beautiful sunsets. It was so quiet and peaceful. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Definitely on our list to stay again!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blueberry Beach House. The hosts are extremely pleasant with good communication. We enjoyed a beautiful view of Lake Superior with a fabulous sunset over the lake. We will book again in the future!
This cottage was very clean and comfortable. Loved the sauna and beach was incredible. Watching sunsets from the cottage and beach made for a perfect getaway.
The property was perfect for our family of 5, everything you needed was there in the house and on the beach to enjoy the week. The location couldn't have been any better, being right on Lake Superior was the best for sunsets and enjoying the water. We enjoyed the woodfire sauna a few times as well as the fire pit right on the beach. Don't forget your water shoes or sandals as there are rocks along and in the water. It was close to Calumet and very central in the Keweenaw to other locations like Copper Harbor and Houghton. Would defiantly stay here again.
We loved our stay here! Although our stay was too short & chilly to really enjoy the beautiful lake we had an amazing time dressed warmly walking the shoreline. The cottage was cozy & very clean. The toasty fireplace was on upon our arrival & the host reached out during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. We would definitely stay here again!
I hesitate to give this property a good rating as it may encourage others to stay here which may eliminate our chances of re-booking. We came to the area to do some rock hounding on the lake and we were not disappointed. Although we didn't find a lot of agates, we found enough stones t interest us that we didn't have to leave. The property is pretty much as advertised. We didn't use the sauna but it is there if you go for that stuff. We went to sleep to the sound of waves which was soothing. The property is close to a dead end so the traffic sounds are limited to a few cars each night. Very peaceful. So please rent from these fine folks, just not the week we decide to go. ;)
Thoughtful host created such a comfortable and clean space for us to thoroughly enjoy the beautiful and serene shore of Lake Superior. Our stay was peaceful and rejuvenating.
Host was very responsive. Place was small but comfortable. Probably can’t fit more than 4 adults comfortably in the common areas, but location was great, view of Lake Superior was awesome and the snow was fantastic the weekend we were there! No complaints.
Super cute cabin - very clean and comfy. Perfect size for my family of 4. Loved having Lake Superior outside the front door. And the sauna was awesome too! Perfect home base for exploring the Keweenaw.
