Chopin Cottage at Composers at Woodlands

Composers at Woodlands is the perfect location for those wanting a restful break in stunning surroundings. All our properties offer immaculately maintained accommodation, perfect for short breaks or a longer holiday.
Composers is the ideal base for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Suitable for individuals, couples and families with Free Wi-Fi internet connection and close proximity to Bus routes, a short distance from Berwick Upon Tweed and within a short drive to local beaches.

The accommodation is a cosy, home from home set over two floors. On the ground floor is a fully fitted kitchen equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and 3 drawer freezer, ceramic hob, full size oven and microwave. The kitchen is well equipped with a wide range of table and glassware and cooking and serving utensils and a small dining table for 4 people.
Beyond the kitchen and dining area, towards the rear of the cottage is the open plan, relaxing lounge area with leather suites. The lounge area features a smart TV with Freeview, Netflix & DVD player and an electric, fan faux fireplace.
Finally, at ground floor there is family bathroom suite fitted with bath and walk-in shower.

On the first floor, you will find two bedrooms; a standard double bedroom with TV and a twin room with two single beds.
Each property is designed for up to 4 persons. We can accommodate a baby up to 2 years using a cot additional to the 4 persons and we offer a full range of baby equipment upon request.

At ground floor, beyond the lounge, patio doors lead on to individual terraces complete with patio furniture and, in the grounds, our Paddock Play area provides an ideal setting for children to enjoy our facilities in a safe environment, just a short distance from the accommodation.

A most delightful holiday in a beautiful part of the country. Woodlands provided the most comfortable accommodation in an excellent location. Martin and his team were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come again.

We love to hear guests tell us about their 'wonderful holiday'. Our team are always pleased to help guests get the most from their time in Northumberland both in our accommodation and the many tourism venues within easy reach of 'Composers'. We, too, are frustrated by the lack of high speed broadband. We are often told our area is 'due for upgrade' but until it happens we continue to offer free internet which, sadly, can be intermittent. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

3rd time in seven weeks and it is the best accommodation we have found everything about Composers is fantastic, from picking up the keys to handing them back all is good with no problems, from fully fitted kitchen to comfy bed we cannot fault anything.

Just Brilliant!

My son and I spent a week at Composers at Scremerston. We had the most wonderful holiday, assisted by great weather and wonderful accommodation. The location was perfect as base for touring the region, including a trip to Edinburgh.

Great access to The Sandstone Way

A lovely base for our family holiday to Northumberland and Scottish Borders

We stayed in Chopin for 7 nights with our 3 year old son. The property was comfortable,modern and clean. Limited outside space but the play area was a bonus for our son. The owners were very welcoming and have put a lot of thought in to making your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Lovely cottage

Lovely cottage in a great location. Some minor irritants, like the towel rail did not heat in the bathroom, and only one towel and a hand towel per person. Trying to dry long hair with a hand towel isnt great but overall a nice stay.

Everything. The accommodation is in a great location, giving easy access to the wonderful Northumberland coastal area as well as the Scottish Borders. Extremely comfortable beds & sitting room furniture & everything you would need in the kitchen & bathroom. Secure parking & very helpful, friendly staff. What more can be said? We shall return!
