Large studio characterful flat with original high ceiling. Light and airy room with with king size bed and sitting room area and kitchenette with oven/grill, microwave, air frier and fridge with freezer compartment. Large smart TV. Dining table and chairs. Shower room/WC with heated towel rail. Main Building - Ground floor (4 steps)
Appletorre Apartments are self contained ensuite studios or flats situated on a quiet road, a 5 minute walk away from shops and pubs and 15 minutes walk to seafront and town centre, entertainments and Riviera Leisure Centre. Trains and buses are also just a short walk away and serve all major areas of the South West. The property is child friendly for 10 years upwards and also pet friendly (by prior arrangement at 10 pounds sterling per stay payable on arrival)

Each flat is fully equipped with large smart TVs, kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, air frier, kettle, coffee machine and all pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juice, milk and bottled water as well as biscuits and mints are provided as part of the welcome pack. Kitchens have kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, tea towel, J cloth and sponge. Bathrooms have tissues, toilet rolls, liquid soap and toiletries. Bedrooms have a hairdrier, clothes airer, electric fan and alarm clock.

Books and games are available in the main hall. Free WIFI is available throughout. Bedding and towels are included in the price. Rooms are serviced every four days. Communal laundry facilities are available with washers, tumble driers and ironing facilities. Wall mounted automatic electric heaters are supplied in the rooms as well as electric blankets . There is free off road parking (one space per flat) and the large garden has been newly landscaped and offers outdoor seating, barbecue, water features and is illuminated by night. Flats 1,2,3,4,9 are ground floor, 5,6,7 first floor.

Check in time is between 3pm and 8pm. Check out is 11am. Keys are collected from Reception. Payment is made on arrival. The owner lives on site.

At £25 per person per night for a newly refurbished and spacious self contained apartment with a brand new bathroom and electric included, we are often told we are seriously underpriced and amongst the cheapest in Torquay for this type of accommodation. However I respect your opinion and hope you return to enjoy our hospitality in the near future. Andrea

I very much enjoyed my stay at Appletorre

My family live close to Appletorre and to have a spacious and beautifully clean place to stay with everything we needed supplied ie., a good shower and a comfortable bed and cooking facilities was just what we required.

Flat was lovely, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Great to be able to bring the dog. It's in a good location for getting out and about. Andrea the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend and if visiting Torquay again will book there again

As always the Appletorre team did us proud! Andrea greeted us like one of the family and accommodated our every need. I always feel so at ease and well provided for when staying in her flats. Comfortable, clean, well equipped, fabulous.

Andrea provided information on arrival which helped us settle in quickly. Also the recommended places to visit, local area and bus information helped massively. A folder provided telephone numbers for drs, library etc. Very organised. Andrea was very approachable and lives on site if we needed anything. The apartment was very comfortable, clean, well equipped and has a beautiful garden both day and night to relax in. A quiet location. Brilliant.

I, Andrea, purchased the property in September 2015 and undertook a full renovation programme gradually installing new bathrooms and kitchens, renewing all heating, lighting and furnishings, replacing all windows and floor coverings and carrying out a full redecoration. The garden was landscaped and external evening illuminations and water features were installed. This programme was finally completed in 2019 but remains an ongoing process to ensure standards are maintained.

My background is in hotel keeping and international commerce. I hail from Leeds most recently where I established a high quality commercial and domestic cleaning service and holiday home business. I am assisted at Appletorre Flats by Tony, my Maintenance Manager, who keeps the place running efficiently and Terri my loyal and hardworking Housekeeper who ensures the rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. I am indebted to them both!!!
