Nestled in the corner of our large beer garden (field) overlooking Coniston Old Man, we have our twin glamping pod, set alongside our double glamping pod.
This is a great base for anyone wanting to visit the Lake District. Fully equipped with heating, en-suite and linen. Full access to The Wilson Arms pub. Breakfast can be added as an optional extra.
The family owned Wilson Arms country inn sits snug in the shadow of the world famous Old Man of Coniston and Dow Crag. An ideal stop off for those travelling the Cumbria Way, being one days walk from the beginning (or end depending on the direction), this charismatic Lake District Hotel is the perfect country retreat.
The fantastic location means The Wilson Arms makes a superb base for exploring the Lake District. With the Coniston and Furness Fells or the beautiful Duddon Valley on your doorstep and Ambleside, Bowness-on-Windermere, Grasmere, Grizedale & Wastwater all within easy reach.
Step inside this charming Lake District Hotel to find a friendly welcome, a real log fire, open beams and a truly delightful combination of modern and traditional creating a captivatingly cosy country feel.
Children are very welcome and we have rooms and dining areas reserved for those staying with pets. Pets can stay with us too at an additional cost of 25 GBP per night per dog.
