Very welcoming house warm and decorated wine and biscuits waiting for us great communication Village was lovely and welcoming and scenery beautiful large co op Close by cafe fish chips and pubs but very quiet and peaceful
A perfect location for exploring Flamborough Head and the surrounding area. Pleasant walks from the front door. Several coves and beaches in easy reach. Nearby pubs and shops are all great. The property is nicely and comfortably furnished with all the facilities and equipment needed. The owners are easy to contact if needed and respond quickly to messages. We were 12 adults and 2 dogs. Snug but very comfortable and happy!
Overall the two properties combined made a perfect solution to finding accommodation for 3 families (9 adults and children). Everybody was really pleased with the facilities and the small yard at the back was the most popular sunspot and made for great outdoor living in the evening.
Can’t recommend this property enough, Clean Co op across the roadBeautiful walks from doorstepPubs, restaurants steps away We had a fantastic stay with friends and family, would definitely come back. Many thanks
We are a Star Wars costuming group who were appearing at Hornsea Carnival, we needed somewhere to stay for the weekend and found this property. Communication with Damien & Lauren was smooth and their responses quick, directions were provided, along with parking info and location. The property itself is beautiful, well layed out and has everything you could possibly need. The location was fantastic, with a Coop within a 2 minute walk, along with pubs and fish and chips shop (AMAZING fish and chips)Thank you Damien and Lauren for a lovely stay :) Katy and the rest of Phoenix Squad
We were a family of 6 with large dog who found being able to have grandparents in the cottage and meet up in the house a great idea; privacy for all and yet also able to be together with safety of locking main entrance door .
All areas were really clean, ample room for family & all the modern conveniences
We found the local
Street perfect location and all
Pubs cafe and shops ideal
Had the BEST stay over new year with my family in both Rock House & Cottage. Owners very helpful and flexible with checking in and left us a couple of bottles of fizz which was very generous. The house/cottage is cosy and well equipped and just perfect for all 9 of us plus our dog. Local area is great, friendly local pubs on door step serving food
and lovely restaurant and fish and chip shops only 3 mins from your door. Can't recommend this property/properties highly enough!! Definitely worth a visit.
Two properties which work well together to accomodate up to 12 people. Our family party consisted of four generations and there was plenty of space for each generation to enjoy space with their own age group but still plenty of space to have proper family get togethers. We got everything we expected from our visit and more. I would not hesitate in booking this accomodation again, a credit to the owners Lauren and Damian.
We throughly enjoyed it. The cottage was lovely and warm once we found the thermostat! The beds were comfy, the kitchen equipment was excellent, except no teapot. Enough hot water. My 80 year old mother-in-law would have liked a shower mat in the downstairs shower.
It was excellent for 3 generations of family- grandma, children and grandchildren been able to go in-between the accommodation.
Overall the property was good although for a group of 10 it was difficult to gather together as a whole group particularly for meals. The courtyard was really useful (it was quite warm and sunny during our stay) but we benefited by having use of the 2 linked properties as sharing it with unknown people if used as separate properties would have been less welcome. One of the BBQs was broken and unusable. Generally well equipped but we found a number of mugs in the Cottage chipped. probably through poor loading of the dishwasher. Wine and biscuits in each property on arrival appreciated! Location and access to facilities very convenient.
Fantastic property with everything you need for a big family holiday. We managed to cook easily in the 2 kitchens, had everything you need to make big meals. (Maybe could do with a couple of extra big pans and some lasagne dishes, plus some new baking trays but otherwise fantastic!).The beds were all really comfy and had bigger/larger duvets on which we liked!!!The bathrooms were great, although the main house doesn’t have a shower in the main bathroom only a bath which was a bit frustrating as these people had to use the en-suite showers. The outside area/yard was our hub and where we spent all our time. There were 12 of us and our dogs and it was comfortable for us all.Flamborough was great, 3 pubs in the village, the seabirds was lovely and has an outside food shack serving pizzas and chicken which our teenagers enjoyed. The weather was lovely during our stay so most of the time we sat in the beer gardens but the pubs were great, perhaps not stockists of the most up to date drinks (they didn’t know what aperol was?!?!).The coop is literally a stones throw from the house and is well stocked. There are a lots of green spaces for dogs and kids, the cricket club, tennis courts and play area were great.Great house in a great location and the hosts were very accommodating.
We stayed for the weekend in Feb for a 50th birthday. 3 families all comfortable in the houses. The amenities are fantastic, the host welcoming and the location is brilliant for access to everything. It was wonderful and we would definitly go again, couldn't fault it!
Fantastic properties. Can 100% recommend. Really clean and spacious. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Very central in Flamborough yet still very peaceful.
Great access to Flamborough Head, Spurn, Bridlington, North Yorkshire Moors etc.
Lovely clean, comfortable and well equipped property. Ideally located in the lovely village of Flamborough. Pubs, food outlets, pharmacy and convenience store all very close by
Perfect for a family holiday. Very difficult to fault apart from creaky floorboards in the bedrooms!
Really lovely property, location, facilities. Couldn't recommend enough. My disabled mum also came with me and it was suitable for her limited mobility issues
It was a fabulous weekend, and the place was as described. The courtyard garden was perfect for a bbq, we rented both properties which beautifully linked into one. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We rented both the house and cottage and it worked perfectly for our large group. Well equipped and great location. We had a great time and would happily recommend.
Beautiful house and cottage. Everything was perfect and all the extras were amazing. Wine and biscuits on arrival were was fantastic. I couldn’t find fault with anything at all. From start to finish our break was perfect. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning
