Very nice art and history telling villa

We enjoyed our stay a lot We can recommend the house for groups of people who enjoy the quietness of rural area with short acces to nice places and beaches of formentera. The Communication with our host was excellent. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful finca on La mola

We were a family of 7 with adult kids and girlfriends in tow. The finca was perfect - an impeccably restored Formentera finca amongst vineyards. We loved every moment there; sitting under a terrace shaded by grape and bougainvillea, using the pool with endless views of dry stone walls. We walked the old Roman road thru the pine forests and ate at the many wonderful restaurants; some within walking distance at La Mola. If you happen to stay here you won’t want to leave!

Second visit

This was our second visit to La Cubana. As a family group of 7 this property works beautifully for us; it is a lovely old finca; rustic enough to still contain the magic of these islands and we thoroughly recommend it. We love the area and it is are close to the Migjorn beaches and walking distance to La Mola. There are only 2 suggestions that would enhance a stay here and it is a basic expectation especially as returning customers: a bit of warmth and hospitality on check in would be appreciated; and at least some cold drinking water ( a glass each guest is enough) AND basic kitchen/house supplies so you feel welcome, so you don't have to rush out and buy washing liquid so you can wash up a glass or plate. (Hopefully all the supplies we left helped out the next group.) The second suggestion is to provide common sense support; We were unfortunate with the weather on the first 2 days as a dust rain storm covered the islands leaving fine red dust over everything and the property was covered in the dust - pool furniture and outdoor areas which was there for the duration of the 10 day stay. It would have been common sense for the property to be checked and cleaned, as the whole island was affected. We also had a change of linen and towels on day 8 of our 10 day stay. Not sure why it was not scheduled for day 5, 6 or 7?

Great Stay!

We had a marvellous stay at the old country side cottage. Its quiet location between figue trees, cacti and vinyards on top of La Mola is just fantastic! The house is well equipped for up to ten people - nothing was missing in the kitchen, around the pool or anywhere in the house. Hopefully until soon!

Great hideaway in Formentera

We were a group of ten people, and all had a great time in La Cubana. The house is well equipped, everything worked just fine, and we where warmly welcomed! The property is located in a very quiet country area, in the middle of a vineyard field. Just keep in mind that as a rural area house you will naturally have to deal with the presence of some bugs that find their way into the house (ants mostly, but also bees and some roaches)!
