Lovely extended winter stay

We stayed in the apartment for approximately 3 months & had a lovely, relaxing stay. The apartment is well equipped & in a good location. Some of the fixtures are a little tired but everything is functionable. We had a couple of teething problems when we first arrived, but Laura, the host & Nicky, the property manager, sorted everything for us really quickly. There is some noise from the A7 road that is close by, but all the restaurants, bars, shops etc are located by the road, which means that access to them is very convenient however, quite a few of the bars & restaurants closed in early January & hadn't re-opened when we left in early March, but many of them remained open. There is a lovely park on Benamara, & the beach is a short, easy walk away, both of which were great for walking our dog. There was always plenty parking available. The swimming pool was open over the winter months, which was a bonus for me as I did some cold water swimming & the sun loungers were also available for sunbathing.
