About this property

Willow Glen House - Architectural Gem in the Hudson Valley with European Vibes

Nestled in the heart of the Hudson Valley, in Dutchess County, Willow Glen House is a refined, European-style retreat where modern design meets nature. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outside in, creating a calm, light-filled atmosphere that invites you to slow down.

Surrounded by rolling hills and woodlands, this thoughtfully curated home offers a serene escape while being just moments from the region’s vibrant cultural scene. Located near world-renowned museums such as CCS Bard and Art Omi, and concert venues like the Fisher Center by Frank Gehry and Basilica Hudson, it’s the perfect balance of quietude and access.

Charming nearby villages—Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Germantown, Kingston, and Hudson—offer farm-to-table dining, farmers and antique markets, and unique shops that reflect the creative spirit of the area. Whether you’re seeking peaceful relaxation, scenic hiking trails in the area, or an immersive arts, design, and nature experience, Willow Glen House is a beautiful hideaway from the city.

With its Zen-like interior, tasteful European vibes, and nature right on your doorstep, this home is a gateway to the best of the Hudson Valley.

The house owners and hosts, Marcus and Judith, are a Swedish/Austrian couple with a deep love for design, art, and nature. They may be living on the property (out of sight further in the back) in a secondary cabin during your stay. Please note that they share their home with a group of wonderful cats who might stop by to say hello.
They take pride in making Willow Glen House a clean, personal, and special place—perfect for those who love nature and don’t mind trading air conditioning for a gentle breeze and the sound of birdsong.

A welcome package with a bottle of wine and seasonal produce will be waiting for you.
