"In Canneto" is located in the heart of the historic centre, in the typical "caruggi" just a stone's throw from the Cathedral, the Doge's Palace, and the Aquarium.<br><br>Located on the 4th floor of a 15th-century building with a convenient lift, the apartment is bright thanks to its high ceilings—over 3 metres—and large windows. <br><br>The recent renovation preserved period materials and finishes in the Genoese style while enhancing overall comfort (air conditioning, double-paned windows, Wi-Fi, fiber-optic internet, Smart TV).<br><br>The apartment features a bedroom distinguished by a decorative former fireplace with slate slabs and an arch made of antique bricks, which contribute to its unique atmosphere. It is equipped with a brand-new air conditioner and HD TV.<br><br>Mattresses, pillows, bed linens, and towels have been carefully selected to ensure maximum comfort and a restful sleep.<br><br>The kitchen features a traditional Genoese marble sink as well as original, finely restored 1950s furniture, such as the sideboard and the table with a marble top.<br><br>One bathroom is available, featuring a shower and distinctive original 1950s sink, toilet, and bidet, while a second bathroom—also with a shower and accessible from the bedroom—is optional and available only to guests staying more than 10 nights.<br><br>We can provide 24-hour covered, private, and video-monitored parking for 15€ per night of your stay.<br>We will be happy to provide detailed directions on how to get there and accompany you first to the car park and then to the apartment. The historic centre is a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so unauthorised access is prohibited, and there are no paid public or private parking spaces. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Genoa. Nicola is an exceptional host. Communication was great which made our arrival nice and easy. The building has a lift for which we were very grateful. Nicola helped us to find our way around the neighborhood with many nice recommendations for sites and restaurants.

Genoa Apartment

The owner, Nicola met us just outside the rental unit and explained the check in process as well as operation of the elevator. The apartment was very clean and convenient to many restaurants. Nicola allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment until it was time to go the the airport. We would definately rent this place again.

Lovely apartment in great location

Charming 1 bed apartment, beautifully furnished and well equipped. The host Nicola was extremely helpful - emailed information about Genoa before we left London, gave us many suggestions for restaurants etc and things to do. Location very central in historic centre, close to San Lorenzo Cathedral with lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby.would certainly use again if we revisit Genoa.

Excellent Choice

Nicola’s apartment has it all. It has a stylish mix of modern furnishings and beautiful antiques. The kitchen is lovely with everything I needed to make meals. The building has an elevator which I appreciated. The location is right in the center of Genoa. I should have stayed a week! Nicola was the best. He takes the time to introduce you to his home and provides guidance on the easiest routes, sights to see, restaurants and transportation.

Nicola was very welcoming and met us at check in. He had great suggestions and information for the area - including a list of restaurants which was much appreciated. The home is right in Old Town so it was very convenient to get around and there were grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Saturday night was pretty noisy with a bar down the street playing loud music until late but the rest of the nights were quiet (you can hear some street noise but it wasn't during the times we were sleeping and wasn't bad; closing the shutters also helped) - not sure if that was typical of every Saturday night or if there was an event but the rest of our 4-night stay was quiet at night and using earplugs that Saturday night took care of it. The house was clean and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and also had lots of coffee options. Nicola even left out a local digestif to try in the evenings (it was excellent!).

In the heart of Canneto

What a wonderful location for this absolutely perfect, immaculate apartment!! When remodeling this unit the host chose to retain many of the older elements which make it absolutely charming!! That apartment became our cozy Genova home for a week, and hopefully will be again on our next visit.You are in the true heart of old city Genova, easily walkable to most sights as well as the port. Please take the host's recommendations for restaurants as each one we visited was soooo good and very near the flat. Nicola is an VRBO gem as a host and we truly appreciated him meeting us to help when we arrived and returning when we left. Staying at this apartment was a wonderful way to make memories in Genova!!!

Der Gastgeber Nicola war sehr freundlich. Er hat uns bestens über den Weg zur Wohnung informiert und war vor Ort, wie abgemacht. Er hat uns auch ein paar Tipps über die Stadt gegeben. Die Wohnung liegt in der Altstadt und ist sehr zentral gelegen und gut eingerichtet. Kein Durchgangsverkehr. (Weiter unten wird nach einem Weinguterlebnis gefragt: es geht um eine Wohnung in der Altstadt von Genua und nicht um ein Weingut)

perfekt gestaltete vintage-Wohnung

großzügige Wohnung in einer schmalen Gasse im historischen Zentrum. Der Vermieter hat sie mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Er ist sehr hilfreich mit Hinweisen insb. zu guten Restaurant- und Bar-Tips.
