PRIMROSE COTTAGE (BLOCKLEY), family friendly in Blockley

Primrose Cottage is a Grade ll listed Cotswold stone cottage sleeps four guests in two homely bedrooms, resting in Blockley, Gloucestershire.

Primrose Cottage is a beautiful Grade ll listed, Cotswold stone cottage, which sits peacefully next to a lovely babbling brook, in the picturesque village of Blockley. The cottage is ideal for a relaxing break for a couple, a small family or small group of friends.

Be welcomed into the characterful sitting room and look forward to snuggling up on the two-seater sofa or armchair, whilst watching a film on the Smart TV, whilst the woodburning stove gently glows the room and creates a warm ambience.

Head into the smart kitchen/diner to create a heart-warming meal using the contemporary facilities, before gathering with your loved ones around the country kitchen table to dig into your meal and uncork a bottle of wine to toast to a wonderful holiday.

Take the conversation outside to catch the last of the evening sun where you can take a seat at the bistro table and enjoy the peaceful garden that has a long stretch of lawn, with stunning views of the hills beyond and the babbling brook that runs adjacent to the property. Fantastic Little Cottage
Perfect location (a bit off the beaten path but worth it). Easy walk to pubs, cafe and village shop. Very quiet and relaxing with the brook running past and a sunny backyard to enjoy a morning coffee. Well equipped kitchen, comfy sitting room, decent wifi and good tv. Bedroom furnishings and linens were great.

A relaxing retreat!
We spent a week in London before we arrived in Blockley. The Primrose Cottage was a perfect getaway from the hurried pace of London. Blockley is a short drive to many of the attractions of the Cotswolds but it is also slow paced and very relaxing which is just what we needed. Should we ever return for another visit, we will definitely stay at the Primrose Cottage.
