Excellent week over October half term
Good base to explore Northumberland and the Borders. Beautiful scenery from the cottage, property was very clean and tidy, host was very accommodating. Recommend the Rocking Horse Cafe (Alnwick) and Potted Lobster (Bamburgh) for food. Also visits to Barter Books (Alnwick) and Heatherstill Mill went down very well with everyone.

Had a kitchen with fridge. Beds were comfortable; however, lounge and kitchen furniture were really uncomfortable. Wash-Dry combo run time on Eco was over 7 hours; lucky we took clothes out early on drying cycle as they were burning hot. We would not recommend this rental property.
