About this property

Villa Apollo/Aphrodite

Villas Apollo and Aphrodite are identical (apart from the tiles around the pool), independent villas, and each has 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. They both have their own large heated private pool. They have an excellent location very close to the sea/beach and yet in the quiet residential area in Puerto del Carmen. They are just 200 yards from coastal promenade with all its shops and restaurants. Both villas have recently been completely refurbished (2018) to a very high standard, now boasting spacious and modern accommodation. The lounge is large and very comfortable with high end furniture, as well as air conditioning and heating. Good quality complimentary WIFI throughout the villa also allows you to enjoy a wide range of TV channels. The modern kitchen is fully fitted, including dish washer and washing machine. The dining room is bright and airy with a dome ceiling and picture window views of the swimming pool and ample solarium. The villas are very well decorated and lit throughout. The 4 bedrooms can all be made up as king-size double beds or as single beds, thus sleeping eight adults comfortably. We can also supply cots or extra beds for children. Three luxury bathrooms complete the accommodation, one large en-suite to the master bedroom, the second en-suite to the fourth bedroom and the third between the second and third bedrooms. Outside there is a large shaded area for outside dining which incorporates a chill out area with sofas, which is conducive to relaxing outside in the evenings. There is a BBQ area and plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas around the electrically heated pool. Villas Apollo and Aphrodite enjoy a huge following of repeat and recommended clientele. Early booking is therefore strongly recommended. Please note that the occupancy calendar only shows red when both villas are booked.

Villa was lovely, very clean with pool cleaned every few days along with towels changed which was excellent. Communication with host was very clear and kept in regular contact to check if any issues which there were not. Very spacious villa and would definitely return. A few minor points WiFi not great and a bottle of water and a few toiletries would be a nice add touch which we have had in previous villas but as I said very minor overall great experience

IDEAL

Great property.Easy walk to the beach, promenade and shops.Exceptionally clean, a cleaner came a couple a week and the pool was cleaned 3 times a week.situated in a quiet area.

Lovely holiday

Great property in quiet location but 5 min walk to lots of shops restaurants and beach. Villa was as described and pool was very clean and warm, warning that pool was over 1 metre deep so.beware with little ones and non swimmers. Definitely recommended

Excellent Villa with all mod cons including air conditioning which we didn't need to use as the villa was naturally cool. Large patio area and good sized pool. Cleaning and pool service excellent. All polite and friendly. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect and quiet. We had an issue with the toaster blowing but a phone call and it was immediately sorted likewise with the request of a large cooking bowl.

Reception lady really nice as normal arranged to meet us at villa when landed which saves us messing about changing vehicles with cases again.and ordered us a taxi to airport so we don't have to do anything.we book villa for private holiday and we always get just that with your Villa's.

Comfortable property, great location

This property is in a great location with walking distance to a huge number of restaurants, a grocery store, and a beach. The property itself is very comfortable and the pool was great for our kids to play in. We had a little difficulty checking in but it was entirely my fault for misreading the email. The rental company helped us figure it out promptly and efficiently even though we arrived on a holiday. Thanks for the great stay!

Family stay

Beautiful villa in a great location, close to beach, shops, Bars and restaurants. In a quiet road. So you get the best of both. Villa is extremely clean and so to is the pool area. We found the bbq utensils on the last day, they are in drawer at bottom of oven, (we improvised), but there is everything you need for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

Location was great, large outdoor space. Although this villa can sleep 8 we struggled to get enough hot water for 3 showers. Funiture tired & dated, master bathroom window broken & jammed open. Overall the decor is basic & dated.

A beautifull villa for 8-9 persons. It needs a renovation. Most parts (bathrooms) are old. But functioned well. We missed a coffee machine renovation bathrooms

Great location. Villa was greater than expected

Loved all of it, location is great and villa is superb Only thing I can think of to improve would be a shopping cart as we didn’t have a car so that would have helped a lot rather than carry bags. I have seen this elsewhere I have stayed. Very minor flaw. Apart from that it was fantastic

Very helpful staff, lots of information given! Very clean. We felt very safe due to all the locks. Pool wasn´t heated. Would of been nice to have been provided with a sponge/washing up liquid.

Very impressed with the standard of everything

I have rented many villas in PDC over the years and i have to say I was very impressed with this one. On a safety issue a safety hand rail should be fitted to the stairs leading up to the property it is quite dangerous I’m sure it is only a matter of time until someone is going to have a nasty fall which will cause serious injury followed by a massive compensation claim against your Company.

A great place to stay

We have stayed in these villas over a number of years. I am always impressed with the cleanliness of the property and the pool areas. Get the impression the service team care very much about their customers. Location is superb and plenty of space for family and friends. A shout out for provision of toilet paper. In over 20 years of staying in various villa accommodation throughout Europe, Ocean Club is the only provider to make sure of plentiful supply. It's Some furniture is a bit tired but this did not detract from enjoying the villa. Would be great of basic bbq tools could be provided.

Wonderful holiday in a superb villa

This is the third time we have stayed at either Apollo or Aphrodite and the whole experience is a joy, the facilities and location are great, the staff at reception at Club Oceano are helpful, polite and efficient. Although nobody goes on holiday to watch TV there is a set top box that purports to show the UK terrestrial channels for BBC ITV etc but even though it appears to be tuned in there is no feed, a mild disappointment.

Another Great Stay With Ocean Club

We were lucky enough to be upgraded so stayed in Aphrodite this time Apollo last year. Both Villas are fabulous. Everything you need is there for you and if you do need anything else reception are more than happy to help. Professional Company, a pleasure to deal with. If you had villas in more of the Canaries or mainland Spain I would holiday with you every year. I know that’s a massive ask. All I’d have to worry about would be the flight.x
