Sometimes we all need an escape and here at Katy is just the place to escape to!. 1 step to entrance.
Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: Freeview Smart TV
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Electric Hob, Electric Oven, Microwave, Coffee Machine, Fridge, Dishwasher
First Floor:
Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Freeview TV Ensuite: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack and doggy extras. Enclosed courtyard with sitting out area and barbecue (part shared access with owner). 2 small dogs or 1 large dog welcome. Bike store with freezer. Electric car charging point, at cost. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Newly refurbished in 2022, this beautiful cottage is the perfect retreat for a couple looking for that touch of luxury in the Somerset countryside. Katy is dog friendly too making this a delightful stay for your four-legged family members also! On the ground floor is the oak beamed open plan lounge/diner/kitchen area, the bright and airy yet cosy lounge area is a fabulous space to chill after a day out exploring while the well-equipped kitchen provides all you could need to prepare everything from a simple breakfast to a full meal! Heading upstairs you have a large King-Sized bedroom with vaulted ceiling and en-suite shower room with large shower.
Set between the Ancient Medieval town of Glastonbury and England’s smallest City Wells with its wonderful Farmers Market on a Wednesday and Saturday as well as it’s bustling continental café culture, there is an endless list of things to do while staying at Katy. For the keen cyclists there are endless routes along the Somerset levels and bike store with freezer is provided at the cottage. From your front door you are surrounded by countryside walks, nature reserve as well as the well renowned local pub The Sheppey, within walking distance, where you may even spot a famous face or two while sampling the fabulous menu. Head to Street for some retail therapy at Clarks Village, spend a day in Cheddar with its famous Gorge or perhaps meet the Witch of Wookey at Wookey Hole Caves!
