Great place to stay if you’re just sleeping and showering there. It did not have a tv but that was not a dealbreaker for us since we were gone in the daytime. Would have liked to be able to raise the thermostat a degree or 2. Had a wonderful bath w/a huge walk-in shower! Very small but suited our needs.
This was our first time booking a VRBO rental, and Maria was very helpful! The location was lovely, quiet, and private, the property was exceptionally well-kept, and all of the amenities were exactly what we wanted and needed. Maria also checked in via DM each day to make sure we had what we needed, and she provided great suggestions for things to do.
We were visiting the Asheville area for the first time, and we got a perfect spot!

We loved our weekend away in this delightful studio. It was snug and cozy with beautiful wooded views, close to hiking, easy drive to chimney rock, but removed enough from the leaf tourists to feel calm and relaxing. Beautiful shower, thoughtful tasty breakfast, and great setting. This is exactly what we needed for a weekend away and we’ll definitely be back.
A wonderful respite away from the busy life most have.

Chris and I made a conscious decision to move to Western North Carolina to experience the richness this area has to offer. We can step out our front door to great trails to hike or get into Asheville for a concert and great food. We are in paradise. Not to mention we live an an intentional community where residents share a community garden and orchards. We seek a quiet and peaceful life to nurture our spirits and spend time with others with similar intent. We love raising our mini golden doodle, Stella on the property where she can chase squirrels, salamanders and birds. She is so sweet. Please use caution when driving down our driveway since this property is her domain!
Why they chose this property
This well kept new home and cottage has surrounding it beautiful tall trees, birds galore and sometimes bears(very safe) and offers a quiet life.
What makes this property unique
Not to be redundant, but this area is close to Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Hendersonville and more. You can go hiking, rafting, paddle boarding, off road biking, birding, gallery hopping, see artist create their works, have great food and spirits or just take time to rest and be. I don't know of a more diverse area to live in that offers so much.
