The Crab Shack is nicely renovated and, newly decorated a fun beachy theme.
3 spacious bedrooms with beds for a max of 8 people. The Master suite has a full bath, with a walk in shower, and seperate sink /counter area. The other 2 bedrooms, both with large closets share the 2nd full bath with tub/ shower. There are new flat screen TV's in all 3 bedrooms, living room and lanai. New furnishings and appliances. Beautiful fully stocked kitchen and basic pantry supplies for your cooking needs. Enough paper products, laundry soap and coffee to get you started.
This home sits directly on a deep water canal leading out to the gulf of Mexico. You are 5 minutes away from open water. Fish and catch crabs right outside the back door from your private dock. You can experience lots of wildlife, from the friendly manatee, to the dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays, loads of fish and many exotic birds.
The pontoon boat is yours for your entire stay and is docked right outside, the salt water pool has the option to be heated to a comfortable 84 degrees for an additional charge
Guests with boating experience have FREE use of the pontoon boat during their entire stay. Cruise the canals, fish in the flats or venture out to the beautiful sandbar or island. Warm gentle waves lap up on clean white sand. At low tide you can walk out in shallow water forever collecting shells and enjoying this pristine beach. We provide Boat US for your safety and protection.
The home is protected with security cameras on the docks and all exterior doors and the pool deck.
There are 4 kayaks, fishing poles, and crab traps for your use. Enjoy the adult cruiser bicycles and several youth bikes to ride around the neighborhood.
We provide a gas grill on the large screened lanai. We have free high speed internet and free WiFi.
The laundry room with high capacity washer and dryer are located inside the house.
Assorted life vests, beach towels, cooler, beach umbrella, beach matt, and chairs are provided.
Publix Grocery store is close and convenient. BOGO deals everyday! Bring your Sams Club card, it's really close by too. The Crab Shack is in a quiet, relaxed residential neighborhood. This is not the place to go if you' re looking for a party place or lots of nightlife.
The backyard is fenced on 3 sides and sits directly on the the water. There is a completely fenced safe and secure area for approved pets.
Small, NON shedding, well behaved dogs under 25 lbs are considered, they must be approved prior to booking. Pet fee is $100.00 per stay for up to 2 dogs. Please be sure to check the pet box when you register to book with us.
Heating the pool is optional. The cost is $150.00/week to run the heater at 84 degrees, If the outside temps fall below 50 degree the heater will not keep the pool at 84.
Guests are required to purchase the $89.00 property damage insurance which provides $3,000.00 of coverage on the house and boat for accidental damage. You must have prior boating experience to use the boat. The check in coordinator may be available for hire to drive the boat if you do not have experience or are not comfortable driving it in The Gulf.
Only registered and approved guests and pets allowed on premises... TOTAL of 8 people and 2 approved pets are allowed to visit or stay at The Crab Shack or use any of the amenities.
