The house was lovely, it was very well appointed with 2 bedrooms. The location is perfect (near the Gion area); the house is quiet but a short walk away from bus stops as well as the Hokan-ji temple and the Ninen Zara path.
Location was great with easy access to both modern Kyoto and Gion. Hosts were professionals - despite a few hiccups in the booking (likely my own fault) they were easy to get in touch with and happy to help me resolve the issue! Would stay here again!

House Supervisor Claire - Japan Experience
Very convenient, well appointed and handy to transport. We didn't visit the national park so the mandatory rating is irrelevant. Our only problem was disposing of rubbish - not everything could be sorted into the small bins available so we had no choice but to leave a large rubbish bag. We would certainly stay there again if we're back in Kyoto.
