Very relaxing magical place combining a novel bus, cute alpacas and easy access to the best of Devon
Family holiday. Teenage kids loved the bus (included wifi) and it was very relaxing to have alpacas wandering around outside that you could feed whenever. Easy access to walks on Dartmoor, several beaches and National Trust houses.

Rejuvenating stay for families
The best thing is that the kids were very engaged and were happily observing the Alpacas and the other animals in the farm leaving the parents to some therapy time enjoying some board games. The property is absolutely Kids safe and then can roam around, yet they will be in our eye-sight vicinity. The facilities are fantastic and very thoughtful with splendid kitchen utensils and comfy blankets. The property is very clean, even smells nice. We really enjoyed Josh and Natalie's hospitality.
Really enjoyed our stay in the double decker red bus! Josh and Natalie really did a good job revamping the bus and making into a lovely space to live in. The outdoor area is also stunning with greenery all around and the cute Alpacas to keep you company.
Also a perfect space to sit outside at night and enjoy the lovely, cool country breeze and have some BBQ/Bonfire. Very quiet and serene as well so very good for clearing your head out!
Owners Josh and Natalie were very helpful and very friendly. You can also see how hard they work to make the property better and maintain the facilities.
Surrounding area is absolutely astounding! The Dartmoor National Park is just a 20 min drive away and you can go on a discovery adventure there for days and still not see enough. Also don’t miss out on the stunning Becky falls and the lovely English Reviera.
Overall a very nice experience and would definitely consider going there again!

About the host
Hosted by Host
Born on Dartmoor Josh moved onto the farm in 2015 and didn't mean to stay longer then a few months whilst he decided where to live with his daughter Romy (a baby then) . He then met Scotland born Natalie (his future wife) and Cerys (his future step daughter and Romy's future step sister) and things all changed. Natalie and Josh realised they shared a dream of sharing their little piece of Dartmoor and helping others re connect with nature and general well being. Josh and Natalie started farming Alpacas in 2019, married in 2021 and opened for ‘glamping’ in the same year. The Big red bus arrived in 2022. Natalie then realised her own dream by building her yoga studio. We are a very laid back family. We enjoy growing our own meat and veg , collecting our own eggs , the countryside, camp fires and a drink down the pub. Natalie is a fully qualified yoga instructor with an on site studio. Natalie is very spiritual and Josh is on his own path in life . Josh spends all his time and money on the farm and is constantly looking at how to improve what we have to offer here. Dartmoor Reach Alpaca Farm is now Josh and Natalie's life work. Guests love it here !
