Situated within the idyllic village of Skelmorlie, our 4 bedroomed coach house lies on the West Coast of Scotland with easy access to the City of Glasgow, Ferry Terminal to Scottish Islands and Train Station to travel throughout Scotland.

Family from England and Scotland came together for a few days and it was the perfect place for it. Marc gave clear details before we arrived and was really accommodating. The Coachhouse is such a good size for the number of us, with plenty of space to not feel on top of each other. We would definitely look at booking again.

this is a nice large family house, plenty entertaining space two large rooms sitting, dining room. the pool table downstairs a plus. The kitchen is really well stocked mark has thought of everything, especially to keep it clean, when theres 10 people.

Great location, old property

Check-in, correspondence all fab. No issues. House is in a great location and a fabulous size however the smell of damp especially downstairs is quite over powering and we visited when the weather was warm and dry. Several bedrooms had no hanging space for clothes. The floors are very creaky and if anyone is up early and moving around in the kitchen or living areas it wakes the whole house. The toilets were also difficult to flush, some had no locks and the lock on the main bathroom door was broken. Most of the bathrooms and bedrooms were overlooked by other properties so the blinds had to stay closed in these rooms blocking out natural light. The blinds were also all old and difficult to operate. We did enjoy our stay but for the price would have expected a bit more luxury. Bonus was the pool table and ample space for all the family.

Scottish reunion

Five friends stayed at the coach house for an overdue reunion. We had a fabulous time. Kitchen is well equipped, spacious living areas and beautiful views. The twin beds are really only suitable for children but otherwise we loved our stay

Amazing weekend spent making family memories

Marc’s home was beautiful and spacious enough for a family of 10. It had a well equipped kitchen and the pool table was a nice touch to keep the kids entertained. The surrounding area is lovely as well as the local pub. We would definitely come back for another family trip!

Family birthday weekend

We absolutely loved our stay at the Coach house!! It was prefect for our group of 9 and our dog. Mark was a great host and was in communication with us before and during our stay. The property was exactly as described, the pool table was a huge hit. The property was very well equipped and comfortable. We had a slight issue with the heating but Mark responded immediately and it was fixed. We love to return in the future!!

A HUGE hole from home.

I live 10 minutes from this property and would book over and over in a heartbeat.A fantastic place to spend with family of all ages and if you have dogs,youve won a watch.Absolutely everything was there that we needed.Super sized bedrooms with one of the most comfiest superking sized beds in the master..We celebrated my sons 18th birthday and the pool table alone was the main attraction for him and his brothers.We had a lovely sunday dinner with all the trimmings at the massive dining table which finished off one of the best weekends ever.We have provisionally booked again for next year.5 stars across the board.Very very happy to recommend a stay.Only downside was we had to leave.Cant wait to return.wish i could post pictures with this review.Thank you Marc(the owner) for everything x

Good but could be better

The property is spacious and the view from the balcony is spectacular.We had an issue with the central heating which was addressed promptly and solved.The dishwasher was ineffective even after we cleaned the filter.The element in the cooker was sagging .Other issues were some light bulbs needing replaced and the garden needs attention In short these minor issues if attended to would make the difference between good and excellent Despite all of the above we had an excellent time

Fantastic weekend

Went to The coach house for my wife’s birthday along with some family and the place is brilliant as there is plenty of space for lots of people 8 people staying for 3 nights and on Saturday there was 16 people in the house for over 8 hours and at no time did you feel you were falling over each other so if you’re looking for plenty space it’s got it in spades the bedrooms were big and spacious bathrooms spotless and kitchen was well equipped if you needed it would definitely recommend to anyone and the proof of the pudding is the same group of people are going to book it again for the next birthday would like to thank Marc for helping to give my wife and family a fantastic base to stay in for her birthday weekend

Fabulous stay at The Coachhouse

Stayed three nights at The Coachhouse just after Christmas with the family, lovely large house with plenty of space and everything we needed. Great views and easy access to amenities. We had a lovely relaxing time and would highly recommend this property.

Just stunning

Even though id seen pictures, i dont think they do justice to just how beautiful this house is! Its spacious and cosy with an amazing view. It has all the conveniences you'd want and its in the perfect place to use as a base while you visit local areas and beauty spots. To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement and i would recommend to anyone! Thank you for sharing your stunning house with us x
