Just 7km away lies Brantôme, often referred to as the “Venice of the Dordogne” thanks to the river that winds around the town. Here you can explore the beautiful Benedictine abbey, enjoy riverside cafés, or take boat and canoe trips through the scenic surroundings. The historic city of Périgueux, around 24km away, offers excellent shopping, cultural attractions and renowned golf courses. Across the region, visitors can also enjoy cycling, fishing, lakeside swimming, and exploring traditional markets in nearby villages.
