There are an abundance of National Trust properties within easy reach such as: Little Moreton Hall, Biddulph Grange, Quarry Bank Mill, Hawksmoor, Nether Alderley Mill, Hare Hill, Tatton Park & Downs Bank. The short distance to the Peak District National Park makes this town very popular with walkers and hikers.
