Head to Cromer and have coffee or lunch on the famous pier, while doing a little people watching. Travel further along the coast and visit Blakeney Quay or head East and explore the rolling sand dunes and take a walk or horse and cart along the Golden Mile in Great Yarmouth until you hit all the fun of the fair at the Pleasure beach. From here you can also hop on the Bure Valley Railway which will take you across open countryside to the bustling market town of Aylsham where you can enjoy browsing in the wide selection of artisan shops or enjoy something to eat in one of the many cafés.
For those who don’t like to drive to unfamiliar places, nearby North Walsham offers a mainline train station which will whisk you to Sheringham or Cromer or to the Broads and the medieval city of Norwich, a must for history buffs and shoppers alike. Add in The Felbrigg, Blickling, Holkham and Sandringham Estates, RSPB Cley Marshes, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Sheringham Park, Bewilderwood, Amazonia Zoo, great walking, cycling routes and lots of celebrated golf courses too, and you will see why this part of the Norfolk coastline is firmly on the map for guests who return year after year. And you are sure to return to pretty Sea Amber too as it will surely have stolen a piece of your heart. Please note, smoking is not permitted inside or outside of the property.
