UNIT # 307 AT KONA MAGIC SANDS!
We purchased this unit in 2017. Since then, we have made lots of upgrades to the already "good bones" of this unit. Check out our great reviews!!
This unit is designed and set up for TWO ADULTS.
We are sure that you will enjoy the recently added new furnishings that make this unit light, airy and comfortable. This is a direct oceanfront studio unit on the top floor (third floor) of this small complex, with popular Magic Sands Beach on one side, and a peaceful park on the other. A popular restaurant, Magics Beach Grill, is available right downstairs.
Private Queen sized bed/mattress, right next to the sliding doors allows you to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean! The kitchen has been stocked with all the necessities, and then some!
Lots of cabinetry for all your storage needs. All the comforts of home make this unit a great place to enjoy your Big Island adventure!
The unit comes with complimentary WIFI and cable TV, along with an assigned parking space. There is also a coin-op laundry room downstairs for your use, as well as a swimming pool and BBQ for outdoor grilling. We also provide snorkel gear, over-sized beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, picnic blanket, umbrellas and coolers for your day trips to the local beaches.
This building is only three floors, and no elevators, but it's worth the steps to get the private and best views from the building. Our unit is located in the center of the building, right next to the middle stairwell for easy access.

Loved staying at Kona Magic Sands. My wife and I were lulled to sleep every night by the sound of the ocean waves. The unit was cozy, but clean, lovely, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The owners were responsive to our needs to. Plus the location was perfect - we had family staying across the street, and enjoyed how easy it was to get everywhere we wanted, both in the Kona region and other places on the Big Island. This place was everything we could ask for!

Great vacation rental. Amazing time.

This was a perfect rental for us on the Kona side of the island. Great view of the ocean, saw whales and dolphins from bed. Beach was right there and snorkeling is available one beach to the south (less than a mile away). I would recommend this rental to any couple looking for a jumping off point to enjoy the Big Island.

Perfect oceanfront stay

This stay was very cute and cozy and the view was fantastic! The property was clean and very very well stocked for any activities you’d want to do (I used a fishing rod). The location of this condo is also very nice because it is not in the super busy part of Kona and it’s easy to get in and out of the area for adventures but still close to many amenities. You will not regret book in this place, and listening to the waves crash every night!

Perfect vacation stay!

This oceanside condo was perfectly located outside of town (not too far from shops, but away from the crowds) and clean - had coffee in bed while reading and watching the ocean waves crash, watched spectacular nightly sunsets from our window and took advantage of great local swimming and snorkeling. Super fun to watch the local kids boogie boarding at Magic Sands Beach. The restaurant next door is convenient and serves delicious fish tacos. The condo's kitchen is well equipped, too, if you want to cook some local Ahi. Overall an amazing place to rest and relax and I can't wait to return.

Wonderful stay!

We stayed six days at this condo and it was a great location. The condo was clean, stocked with essentials, and had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on! Each morning we would head downstairs to the coffee place adjacent to the condo and back to our room to watch the fish in the surf. We were treated with a show of dolphins further out (this is where the binoculars that were in the condo came in handy) as well as a couple whale spouts out in the distance. When we return we will definitely be staying here again! Oh, and the owner communication was great!

Spectacular view!

My husband and I recently visited the big island of Hawaii for the first time. Having used VRBO numerous times, we perused our options and chose Kona #307. The condo is super clean, spacious, extremely well-appointed and stocked, comfortable and the location cannot be beat. It was easy to locate and the free parking was convenient. The owners have done an OVER-THE-TOP job of decorating and furnishing their condo to make it very comfortable for their guests. They seem to have thought of everything you could possibly want or need. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen complete with all of the usual dishes, pots and pans, glassware, etc., but were also pleasantly surprised by the availability of spices, tin foil, zip lock bags, coffee creamer, non-stick cooking spray, and more. The bathroom included a generous supply of quality linens as well as extras such as laundry detergent and dryer sheets. The bed, linens and pillows were very comfortable. We also appreciated the fabulous Tommy Bahama beach chairs. The Internet connection was very reliable. The beach (right next door!) is beautiful. But, the views from the full wall of sliding glass doors is outstanding! You can open the doors to let in the sounds and sights while keeping the bugs out with the screen doors. Lastly, the owner, Jan, was incredibly helpful to us when we had some questions. She was very prompt to reply and provided valuable assistance. We most definitely will be back in the future. Magical Place

Loved the accommodations: the turquoise green and turtle motif decor was well thought out with everything we needed or wanted. The sunset views were spectacular, framed by the row of palms all right outside the window and viewed from the bed or dining table. Enjoyed the grill and private dining by the pool. The location is perfect with the beach on one side providing fun body surfing, snorkeling or just spectating and the beautiful park on the other side for yoga, exercise or whatever. The grill offered live music on the weekends and we heard the restaurant next door is excellent ( although we didn’t try it). We were happy to be away from the crowds in Kona but the drives weren’t far for exploring other beaches, snorkeling, etc. Would love to return. Highly recommend.

Can’t beat the view

My husband and I find ourselves going back to Magic Sands every visit because you just can’t beat the view. Watching the beautiful sunsets from across the ocean and listening to the lullaby of waves as we fall asleep has become our favorite past time. This particular unit has air conditioning and is well maintained. We would definitely book again in the future!
