incredibly beautiful and unforgettable. Your condo features a full kitchen with range, refrigerator, dishwasher and all of the cookware and utensils you need for inside or lanai dining. Shower with tile and sliced java tile shower floor. There are two ceiling fans in the main room, one in the bath. There is a 55" wall mounted big screen TV, Samsung sound bar and high speed broadband internet. There are two full sized interior windows overlooking the beach. There is also a queen sized bed for sleeping. There are dual reclining chairs for relaxing. There is a large rectangle lanai table with four swivel/rocker chairs and market umbrella. There are also two lanai lounge chairs with a dedicated market umbrella. Beach gear including boogie boards, umbrellas, chairs and towels are provided.

Amazing oceanside condo

This condo is right over the ocean and overlooks Magic Sands Beach. The waves crashing against the shoreline were so amazing we spent a good part of our vacay on the lanai. It is huge with table and chairs and chaise loungers. Boogie boards, umbrellas, and other beach stuff are there too. The place was clean, well stocked kitchen and decorated nicely. We will be coming back for another visit next year. Mahalo!

Kona Magic Sands

Amazing!!!! You cannot beat the location of this unit. Absolute beautiful. So beautiful, you do not want to leave it to do anything else. I have been to this island many times, so I have seen the sights. I was able to just enjoy the unit for the week right on the water and right beside the breach. There is a very good restaurant two floors below and also a coffee and snack stand. There is a bike rental stand across the street with three speed cycles. We paid $3.50 for a day of riding each. Highly recommended and will book again.

The area felt very safe. The room was perfect for the 2 of us. We were very pleased with our stay. We loved having the sliding glass doors open using the screens , it was the perfect breeze and we loved the sounds of the ocean.

Best unit at Magic Sands

This top corner unit right next to the beach has everything one wants in a vacation unit for 2. Very large deck with plenty of seating and big table. Windows on 2 sides to take in breeze, light and views. Beautifully modernized and comfortable kitchen & bath. Perfect!

Our favorite location on the Big Island!

Wow! This place is awesome! The Kona Magic Sands is right next to Magic Sands beach which is a beautiful white sand beach with great swimming, snorkeling, and dolphin watching. This is the best unit in the complex. It is on the top floor with a wraparound lanai overlooking the beach (there is no elevator). We've stayed in other units but will only stay in this one from now on. Everything about this unit rocks. The attention to every detail made our stay extremely enjoyable including everything from the glass Q-tip holder down to the Tommy Bahama sheets. I know that may sound funny but everything was above and beyond our expectations. The decorum is bar none. They even have a storage box on the lanai with beach gear like boogie boards, Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrellas, etc. When we arrived, all you need is a code they provide to enter the front door. If we had any questions before our trip, the owner replied immediately by email. We never had a need to call before or during the trip but had their phone number if we needed. Before the trip, we would ask if he had such or such an appliance or amenity, the answer was always yes. When we got there, one of those appliances that we asked about was still new in the box...almost like he had purchased it just for us. We were happy to find the kitchen pretty much fully stocked like spices, foil, plastic bags, etc. We added a few things as well. The complex has a private laundry mat with machines that use an app called Payrange. You can use quarters or you can use the app to purchase funds, select your washer and dryer, and it even tells you when your clothes will be done so you don’t have to hang out and waste any time staring at a machine. There is also a newly renovated restaurant attached called Magics which has fantastic food, a great ocean front view, a killer bar and sunsets. Since the unit is surrounded by ocean on two sides, the waves can be a bit loud at night and we had to get used to that as we live in the mountains and are used to very quiet nights. With that being said, we love the sound of the ocean. The only drawback with having a restaurant below was hearing the delivery van’s backup beeping at 6am in the morning (we’re not early morning risers). Also, they like to do a lot of blowing in the morning, but it keeps the place nice and clean. You will not be disappointed in this place. It may just be your best vacation ever as it was definitely our best!

Best location, big balcony overlooking waves. Really enjoyed our stay. Owner was very responsive and flexible. This condo is recently renovated and has everything you need. We cooked some. Bed was comfy. Big screen TV was nice for downtime. Waves were daunting to me, but I used the pool a few times. Only thing that we felt was missing was air conditioning. The afternoons get pretty warm, but we closed the drapes u t sunset which helped. I would highly recommend this unit, and would stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality Kona Magic Sands!

Stunning!

Our stay at KMS 301 couldn’t have been better! We found the unit clean, comfortable and just as advertised. Plenty of beach towels and gear, all in very good condition. The furniture inside and outside was clean and very comfortable, especially the two recliners! The extra large lanai has incredible views of the ocean and beach, great for watching the waves and boogie boarders below. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom has a great shower, good lighting and plenty of counter space. I was especially grateful to find a folding step stool in the closet, to assist me getting into and out of our rental Jeep in my wedding gown! The owner was very quick to respond to our questions, both before and during our stay, and we are thrilled that they choose to make this unit available for us to enjoy! Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Magic Sands Condo. It is the best unit in the complex. The corner unit has a huge lanai that is so close to the water that is like our own private beach. You can watch fish play in the waves from the deck. The unit has everything two people need for cooking and visiting the beaches. The complex is older, which is why it has such a great location between two beaches, but this unit is totally updated with a very functional and spacious studio layout. The ocean was a bit rough during our visit so we only snorkeled Magic Sands once, but the best snorkeling on the island is only 1 mile away. If you want resort ammenities this isn't the place for you. It is the perfect location if you want to kick back, listen to the waves crash below your feet and watch dolphins play while you eat breakfast. The owner was most gracious and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Large wrap around lanai is great

We stayed in this perfect little condo unit with a large wrap around lanai with excellent views & sounds of the ocean and Magic Sands beach. The condo is great for two people, clean, updated, nice kitchen (Keurig☕️) and the bonus of good quality beach essentials for our many other excursions. With the two windows & slider door there was great air flow, no need for air conditioning. Every sun filled morning whilst enjoying coffee we easily watched from this large lanai all the colourful tropical fish & turtles just below us while also marvelling at the pods of spinner dolphins. During the day we swam at Magic Sands beach an experience in itself with those crashing waves and then welcomed the luxury of relaxing in the privacy of the lanai. Our evenings were often spent on the lanai watching the famous Kona sunsets! Yes, we would stay in this condo unit again.

From the moment I walked in, this place was great. Unit and lanai were much larger than I had expected. Only downfall is that the unit does NOT have a/c. The heat and humidity made it a little tough to sleep due to no a/c and leaving windows and doors open, while waves were crashing through the night.

Perfect place!

Lovely condo recently remodeled, just above my favorite beach. We watched turtles from the lanai in the water just below us. The unit was quiet despite being right off Ali'i Drive and we never heard other guests in the building. This is far enough away from 'downtown' Kailua to not feel crowded but close enough to shops and restaurants if you want to go out. We will come here again!

Condo 301 is absolutely beautiful! The Beach.....we could hardly leave to sight see, we loved it so much right here! Everything we could have dreamed or wished for was here. Spinner dolphins jumping out of the many hues of blue off the lanai. We swam near turtles every morning (very respectfully and not too close) just steps from where we had our Kona coffee. We could see them arrive from the lanai and off we would go! A favorite past time was boogie boarding and swimming ....is there such a thing as too much fun?!! We had a blast! Perfect location, and condo has everything you will need. NO T.V. for us! The sunsets, sounds of the waves, and fresh ocean breezes renewed us for the next day of awesomeness! Vacation memories we will have forever and think of often. Already checking the calendar for when we can return!

Almost in the water.

Property is clean, really clean, well appointed, nothing we needed that wasn't provided and has an incredible unobstructed view. We didn't want to rent a car while here and this property made it possible to get around without one. Incredible beach right beside condo that made it easy to go back and forth many times a day. Downtown is about three miles and grocery and drugstore about two miles in opposite direction. If walking that far isn't what you want to do there is a trolley that stops on the property or across the street option of getting a blue city bike. But, we came for the beach and we in this condo we got the beach. Pictures on the site are accurate.

This is a great condo. We had stayed in it before it was remodeled and it is so much nicer now. The owner very helpful if you had any questions. FYI has a Keurig coffee maker. Beautiful sunsets , dolphins and whales from the lanai.

Perfect getaway studio

From the moment we stepped into this unit, the long day of travel was quickly erased from us. We were greeted with the sound of ocean waves upon opening the sliding glass doors to the lanai, and automatically felt the stress of travel melt away. The unit is everything as advertised. Practically, it had everything we could ever need to comfortably stay for our seven days. The unit was extremely comfortable to live in. The owner's communication was great. We loved being close to the white sand beach, and was the best amenity that the unit offered. We would stay in this studio again without hesitation.
