‘The Little Mermaid’ is located in Tregoyne, which is a little 'horseshoe' of similar properties, mostly residential with families, but with a small number of holiday lets. The award-winning Porthtowan beach is just a few minute's walk down the road (which initially is a steady slope, so may be approx 10 minute's walk back up, depending on how fit you are!).

Accommodation comprises:

Decked entrance with bistro seating, with patio doors leading into open plan lounge/kitchen.
Leading through to first bedroom which has a double bed, a short wardrobe/drawer unit, two bedside cabinets and touch lamps with USB ports.
Please note: the bathroom is accessed via the double bedroom. Bathroom comprises a shower cubicle, toilet and sink.
Stairs in the lounge lead you to the second bedroom which is situated in the converted loft (with velux window). Here you will find two single beds, drawers, shelves and clothes hanging space. Due to the slightly low sloping sides of the ceiling (max central height 170 cm) we recommend it is most suited to children/smaller adults.
The lounge has a sofa, footstools and a side table.  There is a smart 43" LED FHD Fire TV and SkyQ. Also a selection of books and games.
The adjoining kitchen (open plan) has a range of fitted cabinets, an oven/grill, microwave, kettle, toaster, Tassimo machine and under-counter fridge with top freezer compartment. The kitchen is equipped to cater for 4 guests.
In this open plan room there is a dining table with four dining chairs.

Outside to the rear of the bungalow there is a little garden of plum slate chippings (for your sole use) with outdoor seating. The garden is accessed down the outside of the bungalow, and is immediately in front of the double bedroom window.

Wi-Fi/Phone: There is free unlimited Wi-Fi available for your use in this property! FYI, there is limited mobile signal in the village. For this reason you may want to check your mobile phone, as some offer the option of switching on Wi-Fi calling/messaging, or alternatively some mobile providers have an app you can download to enable you to use your mobile via a Wi-Fi signal, for example Three has ‘Three in Touch’.

Bed linen (protectors, fitted sheet, duvet), a hand-towel and a tea-towel are provided (guests must provide their own bath and beach towels and any cot bedding if required).

A highchair is available on request.

There is an allocated parking space for this property plus an extra guest parking space if required – a rare luxury for a seaside resort!

Electricity is included in this rental.

Pets:
We welcome pets by prior agreement – please enquire at time of booking and see the information below regarding dog restrictions on the beach. Please also see our Terms & Conditions. Due to the size of the bungalow, we would recommend no more than 2 dogs.
*DOG NOTE: The village pubs/eateries are dog-friendly . We are also really pleased that Cornwall Council made a big change in 2020 and the restrictions that were previously in place on this Blue Flag beach are now only in effect from 15 May to 30 September and only between the hours of 10am and 6pm. This means that, as well as full access for a much greater part of the year, we can now exercise dogs in the mornings and evenings for the other months! Hoorah! During the restriction time, don’t worry, as just a stroll over the road is a river and large sandy dunes/green area where dogs are welcome and we also have pretty much immediate access to the stunning SW coastal path. The nearest all-year dog-friendly little beach is just a 4 mile drive up the coast at Trevaunance Cove (further along at Perranporth is a big one). A lot of our guests enjoy going to the huge Tehidy Country Park for big walks too. Rest assured we have lots of very happy repeat doggy visitors year on year to Porthtowan during the beach restriction period who are very satisfied with their stay (please feel free to browse our many general reviews!).
