Self contained 2 bedroom beach cottage within the family run Golden Bay Holiday Village. Perfect location for spending time at Westward Ho! beach, Appledore, Northam, Clovelly, Instow, Hartland, Bideford. Beautiful walks around the SW coast path & close to the Tarka Trail. The Holiday Village is pet free, tranquil, family friendly and well cared for. Parking is included. The chalet has a lovely deck area with sea views. A double room and a second bedroom with two single 3ft beds. The lounge has a smart TV, Roku, DVD player, dining table and sofa bed. The bathroom consists of a bath with shower over and toilet, shaver socket, storage area and privacy blinds. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering including full oven, extractor, hob, microwave, coffee machine, cutlery, crockery, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer. We also supply some new items you can use and then replace If needed urgently. If you like to walk, you can join the promenade opposite the Rock Pool, which leads to The Pier House and Abbotsham cliffs if you turn left, or to Westward Ho! Village with over 2.5KM of golden sandy beach if you turn right. There are several places to eat with spectacular views of Lundy Island or across to Saunton Sands Hotel. Unfortunately no dogs or pets are allowed on site. Please note - this property has a fully non smoking policy including the wooden decking area. (due to our commercial letting insurance policy). You may smoke, vape or use e-cigarettes in the public areas of the grassy area or paths outside of the decking fencing of the bungalow. We use vegan and ecofriendly products where possible. Complimentary WiFi is via 4g router and data is limited to 42Gb per week. This is subject to network speed & availability of the EE network. If you use multiple devices for streaming or downloading films, or for Teams / Zoom meetings it is likely you will exceed the 6 gb's per day and the internet will stop working completely or the data speed will be significantly reduced. If our WiFi system does not meet your requirements you can join the Golden Bay Holiday Village WiFi which is chargeable. Please enquire for current costs.
Bedding is supplied on the basis of the number of persons booked. If two, this covers the double bed only unless advised otherwise at the time of booking. Only the number of persons on your booking are authorised to stay in the beach cottage overnight. Day visitors should also be notified to us so we can notify GBHV for our rental insurance, Golden Bay security and fire register purposes. If you need to amend your booking for additional guests please modify your booking accordingly or contact us to adjust the number of occupants.
We provide a toilet roll, bathmat, dishcloth, dishwashing liquid and shower/shampoo.
There are a range of games in the chalet including jigsaws and board games.

Beautiful lodge with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect for young children, fully accessible too. Brilliant location for beach, bars and parks.
Had a great stay here, we have stayed at the park before and love the location. The property was super nice with lots of great touches to make our stay really comfortable. We had great communications with the host who ensured we could settle into our break as soon as we arrived. i cant recommend this property highly enough, hopefully we will have the opportunity to return in 2023.

Very Clean and tidy. Welcome pack and supplies were very much appreciated especially the milk for a cuppa! :-) Had everything you would need whilst staying - like being at home. Perfect position, quiet with excellent access to everything. Including beautiful views of the sea and surrounding scenery. Will definitely be booking again!
We had a great time at Sea La Vie. It's a fab location, just sit outside to hear the sea and waves coming in, and that's pretty much all you can hear apart from the odd seagull! It's so quiet. Great base for a relaxed surfing holiday. Really well equipped kitchen. We didn't get in the car once in 8 days as there was everything we needed within a short walk. Highly likely we'll be back!
Loved 2 bedroom chalet close to beach and all Westward Ho! has to offer. Very impressed with all the little extras provided. Condiments in the kitchen, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. Products in the bathroom. Comfortable beds, extra soft throws if needed. Unfortunately our stay coincided with wet and windy weather but the heaters warmed up the chalet in minutes. I will be definitely staying again
"Sealavie" was absolutely perfect for our week long getaway by the sea. The property is exactly as described and the lovely little touches that Suzie makes make the stay that much more enjoyable.
It is so close to the sea that you can take a 30 second stroll out of the cottage and check out the surf, tide or sea pool. A quick 5 minute walk along the esplanade and you are in the heart of Westward Ho! with all the amenities and amusement, restaurants (and awesome sweet shop) you need...plus the beach is great.
If you have young children, the site is safe and quiet so would be great for young families or teenagers as I had.
For our group of 3 (one adult, 2 x teenagers) it was perfect.

Golden Bay Holiday Village is such a well cared for holiday park. It is family friendly and ideal for those who want a tranquil break. It is so close to the sea & beach, it's a great location. Alternatively for walkers they can explore Abbotsham cliffs and the surrounding coast. Cyclists have the Tarka Trail to follow. All in all it is a lovely location and we are trying to make it as comfortable as we can for you.
