Lovely 2-bedroom apartment, free parking & garden

Whether travelling for pleasure or business, relax and unwind at this peaceful, family-friendly place to stay in the heart of Datchet village, only two minutes' walk from a beautiful stretch of the River Thames.

The accommodation is located at the end of a gravel drive set back from the road, and benefits from free off-street parking for two cars and a charming, secluded rear garden with terrace, outdoor seating and a BBQ for the exclusive use of our guests.

Both bedrooms have Super King double beds (also configurable as single beds) with orthopaedic mattresses for a good night's sleep. A sofa bed is also available for larger groups of five or six guests. Freshly laundered hotel quality bed linen and towels are provided together with fresh toiletries.

The kitchen is comprehensively equipped with a fridge/freezer, oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave oven, toaster, blender/smoothie maker, complementary tea and coffee and a Dolcé Gusto coffee/hot drinks machine.

Super-fast wifi Internet is available throughout the property, together with a 4K flat-screen HD television with Netflix.

Close to Windsor, Windsor Castle, Legoland, Eton, Ascot, Slough and Heathrow Airport, close to the M4 and M25 motorways, and only two minutes' walk from Datchet Railway Station.

Lovely location and accommodations

My sister, my husband and I stayed at this cottage for 3 nights. It's lovely and has plenty of amenities in the kitchen. Location is Very close to the train, which was perfect for hoping on to pop over to Windsor and Eton. It's also one block from a pub and a corner market. Issues; the king size bed is poor quality and therefore uncomfortable (I was very happy we only had to sleep on it for 3 nights) and the washer/dryer's normal wash cycle was over 3hrs long (we learned to use the rapid setting) and if you have more than one days worth of cloths in it, it takes 3 to 4 hours to dry a load and leaves your clothes extremely wrinkled even if you remove them before it has stopped. This was part of a 14 day trip and the ability to wash our clothes was part of why we booked a house instead of another hotel. The booklet provided was fantastic, we used it for restaurant recommendations and more. We truly appreciated that it was emailed to us so we could refer to it while out and about. We had to contact the host, who got back to us promptly and kindly. They resolved our issue (which was self created, no fault of the property) quickly and we're great about it. Overall it was great, but I wouldn't stay here again in the future because of the mattress.

Property was exactly as descibed, modern, comfortable and clean. Fantastic location for windsor as it's a one minute walk from station. Also pleasant 30 minute walk into windsor. Would love to stay in summer to make use of outside area.
