Chubby’s Webb Creek Hideaway is the perfect secluded getaway for one or two couples, or a small family. There are no mountain roads to climb to get to Webb Creek Hideaway. Located on the valley floor only a few hundred feet from Rte 321, you will find its location both convenient and easy to navigate, especially in winter.

The cabin is located on a secluded almost 1-acre lot surrounded by trees. You enter the property through a meandering driveway. The lot is bordered by a church and small cemetery (very quiet neighbors!), an undeveloped property and by Branam Hollow Road.

Located off the covered back deck and across the street is burbling Webb Creek, after which the cabin derived its name. Enjoy the sounds and views of Webb Creek from the covered back deck while relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying the sauna or having dinner outdoors. Outdoors, spend time with family and friends around the outdoor fire pit on the west side of the cabin, or spend the day playing horseshoes or corn hole on our game deck on the east side of the cabin. Inside, enjoy a game of pool, play the arcade game or peruse the many games on the Megatouch touchscreen game (beware – this game is addicting!). Lots of card and board games are provided as well.

The cabin features two master suites with king beds, electric fireplaces, flat screen TV's and private baths with large walk-in showers. There is an additional half bath located off the game room. The living area is the perfect spot for relaxing with the flat screen smart TV, electric fireplace and comfortable seating. The couch is a sleeper sofa for the kids or an extra guest. The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of cabinets and storage, as well as a large fridge. A full size stackable washer and dryer is provided in the half bath off the game area.

This cabin is perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors. In addition to all the activities the cabin offers, Climbworks (one of the top-rated ziplines in the country) is located at the end of the driveway. Walk to Climbworks (http://www.climbworks.com/smoky_mountains/) to enjoy their many ziplines. Or treat yourself to one of their packages that includes nearby white water rafting! Want to enjoy a round of golf? Webb Creek Hideaway is located three minutes from Bent Creek golf course. Hiking in the Smoky mountains? We are less than 10 minutes from the Greenbrier entrance to the national park. The Cosby park entrance is only 10 minutes away and offers a great place to picnic at the Cosby Picnic area, as well as the Gabe’s Mountain trail entrance and Hen Wallow Falls. This is one of our personal favorites in the park, and one less traveled.


Please note that we do not accept arrivals on holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (December 24, 25 or 26th) and New Year's Day. We believe our cleaners deserve time off to spend with family and friends. If you need to arrive on a holiday or one of the dates above, you will need to contact me first to make suitable arrangements.

Our cabins are located near the Great Smoky Mountains which are home to black bears. While seeing bears is not an everyday occurrence, visitors should be aware of the potential. Guests will be notified if I become aware of bear activity in the area.

Host fees - the only fee we charge is a cleaning fee which is listed as a host fee. This entire fee goes to our cleaning crew for the fantastic job they do!

Do we decorate for the holidays? Absolutely! Decorating for the holidays is something we thoroughly enjoy, both at home and at our rentals. The cabin is fully decorated inside and out. We have an awesome outdoor display, including roof lights and a beautiful nature scene in the yard! Decorating season runs from approximately mid November through mid January. Guests can contact Linda if you want to know if the cabin will be decorated during your stay if your dates are in early November or mid January. PLEASE NOTE: Our Christmas yard art displays may vary from year to year. We have had a problem with animals eating the wiring on our displays and some get damaged beyond repair. It is not always possible to get them replaced due to timing and cost.

Enjoy a family outing to Carver’s Apple House in Cosby. They have a restaurant overlooking their beautiful orchards in addition to a fresh produce market and gift shop. It is located less than 10 minutes away. Downtown Gatlinburg with all its amenities is located 15-20 minutes away. Pigeon Forge and all its attractions are located 20-30 minutes away. The Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts loop starting at Buckhorn Road and ending on Glades Road is only 7 miles from the cabin. A Food City grocery, dining and shopping are all 10 minutes or less away. And don’t forget to see our favorite eclectic watering hole, The Fox and Parrot Tavern (http://www.fox-and-parrot.com/) located on Glades Road – it is an experience you will always remember!

We also have two cabins in Pigeon Forge (two bedroom, two bath Sleepy Bear Retreat @ VRBO 911627 and three bedroom, three bath Rustic Pine Retreat @ VRBO 789841). These cabins are side-by-side and offer accommodations for up to 14 when rented together.
