We had a brilliant break at Riverside Cottage, three adults and a dog.
We had a brilliant break at Riverside Cottage, three adults and a dog. The location is really handy, being next to the Threlkeld to Keswick path, 10 minutes from the town centre. The cottage is really well-equipped and we enjoyed the garden. Great to have a boot room because we got soaked a few times! We have a large car - VW Tiguan - and found parking to be absolutely fine. There's enough space for at least one additional car. It is a tight turn but nothing to worry about.

Stayed for Christmas.
Stayed for Christmas. The property is quaint with the running river behind. The lounge could do with a better set up of furniture in my opinion. The snug is lovely and very cosy. The porch great for muddy boots and paws.Kitchen yes compact but everything you need.Upstairs bathroom was very dirty around the window with black mould and very cold and dated not very inviting room to want to have a bath or shower.Upstairs on the landing black mould too..Bedroom master, bed is really comfy but very small. And the twin bed good luck in them beds if your an adult !! Not the best cheap beds. The cleaseness of the property was very good and clean, however tell the cleaner to clean the bedroom lamps they were thick with dust !! Overall I would give this property a 7 out of 10 .
