Rosebud Cottage made for a wonderful stay — warm, cosy, and perfectly comfortable for two adults and a child. It was simple to find on Google Maps, spotlessly clean, and had a really welcoming feel throughout.

Everything we needed, in an ideal location.
Good location, easy to find. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The lodge was comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We really liked the private outdoor seating area and the pretty garden.

We felt very comfortable.
Various excursion destinations were easy to reach from the location of the accommodation. If you like secluded, rural surroundings, this is the place for you.

Rosebud cottage suited the three of us perfectly, it had everything we needed and we loved the outdo
Rosebud cottage suited the three of us perfectly, it had everything we needed and we loved the outdoor space which was a great way to round off the day. It's position close to many good bird-watching sites was a bonus.
Not much to criticise, we found the bedrooms were a bit cramped, and bedside furniture was minimal.
Nice place great position for that part of somerset.garden is a sun trap friendly people who own it.

A very comfortable stay in a great location.
The accomodation was great very comfortable and spotlessly clean and in a good location.
A Bread Slicing knife and Dish drainer in the kitchen - but these are minor points as we loved the place and would definitely visit again. A bit difficult to see the entrance when we got back there in the dark, but none of these would stop us visiting again. Thank you

Thank you for your feedback Paula, we do appreciate it. We are thrilled you found the accommodation comfortable & clean. We have suggested to the owner about a bread knife & drainer, thank you for this. We would love to have you back!
Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields.
Rose Cottage was beautiful, clean and comfortable and was just what we needed for a short break. Sue the host was lovely and left a pint of milk in the fridge and popped round to put the heating on for us. The cottage had everything we needed and was ideally located for visiting the surrounding area. We had a wonderful break and would definitely return. There was a lovely pub called The Duck at Burtle which was very nice and about 15 mins drive.

Relaxing stay.
I liked that we were left alone. it was very clean and had all you needed
The floor slowped and my mother in law trip over because of this. And walls were very thin you could hear everything . It was in the middle of nowhere and never found a shop so take what you need food wise with you. But other then that it was perfect and a beautiful little cottage would stay again

Peaceful, quiet, central
Lovely, cosy cottage. Comfy beds, amd a great couch for lounging. Everything we needed to cook up a nice meal together. Beautiful views over the fields, visited by swans, deer, and pheasants.
Best part was even though it’s a quiet, rural location, it was only a 3 minute drive to the local (delicious) pub - The Bird, 10 minutes from Avalon Marshes Nature reserve, and 15-20 minutes to Glastonbury, Street, or Wedmore.
Owner came out to greet us and then left us to our own devices, though I feel confident if we had needed her, she would have been readily available.
Would definitely recommend to anyone considering staying in the area.
Nothing.

Heart of the Levels
Lovely to be in the heart of the country, within easy reach of all the attractions
We would have really appreciated having fans in the heat as the cottage was stifling. Perhaps the owner could provide a scratchy sponge for washing up. It would also be nice if the fence could be lowered so we could look onto the field.
