Villa Maldives is a charming and practical holiday home, ideal for families seeking comfort, leisure and a prime location near the beach in Galé.



The living room is bright and spacious, with direct access to the outdoor area, creating the perfect space to relax and spend quality time together.



On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom en suite with a shower, as well as a guest bathroom.



On the first floor, there are two twin bedrooms, both en suite, one with a bathtub and the other with a shower, ensuring comfort and privacy for all guests.



The kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for preparing family meals with ease.



Outside, the property features a pleasant swimming pool at the back, a barbecue area for outdoor dining, and a rooftop terrace ideal for watching the sunset.



Located in Galé, within walking distance of Galé and São Lourenço beaches, as well as nearby restaurants, bars and supermarkets, Villa Maldives is the perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday in the Algarve.



The changeover day for this property is Saturday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).

If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an inquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.



This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).



Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car rental. We can also arrange transfers if needed.



There are some restrictions for group bookings.

Please return the keys to the lockbox before leaving. Ensure it is fully closed and the code scrambled. We appreciate your cooperation.
Before leaving, please turn off all lights, A/C units and non-essential equipment. Thank you for supporting energy sustainability.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Minimum/multiples 7 night stay & Changeover day is on Saturday, however this may be flexible in low season.

Wonderful Experience

Perfect location and relaxing atmosphere

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Maldives. The house is very spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location is unbeatable, walking distance to two amazing beaches, great restaurants, and a supermarket. We especially loved the private pool and the rooftop terrace, where we watched the sunset every evening. No car needed, which was a huge bonus!

Perfect place in Algarve

We had an amazing stay at this villa! The property is spacious, modern, and very well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. Comfortable and well-located villa in Galé

This villa was a great choice for our Algarve trip. Very clean, well-furnished, and everything worked perfectly. The pool was a highlight, as well as the rooftop terrace for evening drinks. Having three bathrooms made everything easier with kids. It’s close to both Galé and São Lourenço beaches, and we walked to dinner most nights. A lovely place to stay for a sunny break!

Ideal villa for a family holiday

Villa Maldives is exactly what we were looking for. The three bedrooms all with private bathrooms made our stay super comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, and the living room with direct access to the pool area was great for relaxing after the beach. The barbecue area was perfect for our family dinners. Everything was close by, and the neighborhood was peaceful. We’ll definitely return!

We loved our stay at Villa Maldives! The villa is beautifully decorated and extremely functional, with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The pool area is a true haven, and the rooftop terrace was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Perfect

Villa Maldives was simply perfect for our family holiday! The location is fantastic, with incredible beaches and great restaurants just a short walk away. The house is spacious, very well equipped, and super comfortable, especially with all the en-suite bedrooms. The private pool and the rooftop terrace with sunset views were our favorite spots. We loved preparing meals on the barbecue and relaxing in the outdoor area. Easy internet access and proximity to everything we needed made our stay even more convenient. Great location, villa needs attention

Not a lot to love at Villa Maldives except having a pool (and a nice pool man) and the neighborhood—the pictures misrepresent what's inside, from the pergola on the patio that does not exist, to a dirty tablecloth draped on top of a dirty old couch, and stained and uncomfortable furniture. The cleaning crew missed several spots. Etc. Etc. My concerns were heard but the way this property manager is structured it's clear local employees who are perfectly friendly have no power to address things beyond offering to clean again. The check in process is absurd. I had to upload a selfie of myself holding passport and was told the Portuguese government requires this, yet no other hotel or villa in Portugal requested this of me. A friend came to visit and I had to do the same for his papers, but there was no way to share the link to have him do it himself. The "mandatory check-in welcome" is a sales pitch for group tours and was scheduled for me on my own vacation. It felt like having to do work for them. This company needs serious updating to its business practices and some training in how to treat people, including its employees, with respect and dignity. Absolutely will not rent with this company ever again.
