The Space:
Ridgestone is proud to present this beautiful and tranquil one-bedroom holiday cottage is the perfect romantic getaway for two. Your stay includes a super comfortable king-size bed, with all fresh linens and fluffy towels provided. The large, modern bathroom offers the benefit of both a walk-in power shower and a double-ended bath with a shower attachment, providing a true sanctuary.
The home’s open-plan layout creates a welcoming and spacious feel. The living area is a cosy spot to relax, and the fully-equipped kitchen is stocked with all the essential implements for a home-cooked meal. Seating can be found at the breakfast bar or outside in the garden when enjoying a morning cup of tea.
The highlight of this self-catering accommodation is the private hot tub. Located outside, it’s not fully enclosed but has an overhanging canopy and magical fairy lights, creating the perfect ambiance for an evening under the stars. The tub is thoroughly cleaned and treated between each stay for your peace of mind. This charming Cumbrian retreat is perfectly situated for exploring Lake Windermere and the wider Lake District.

The Black Labrador is a quick 2-minute drive from Scar View and offer an excellent menu consisting of locally sourced produce that can be enjoyed by either dinning in or collecting from the pub.
The iconic towns of Bowness and Windermere are found a 15-minute drive away, with the historic market town of Kendal found a slightly shorter 10-minutes away in the opposite direction.
Getting Around:
Oxenholme (Oxenholme Lake District) and Windermere Train Stations are the nearest train stations, located a short 15-minute drive away from Scar View. Reliable local taxies can pre arrange collection from either station to the house.
While there are a number of reliable local taxi services available within the area, there are no nearby bus stops with the closest bus routes operating in either Windermere or Kendal respectively.
