We love the Westside of Santa Cruz. The house was a short walking distance from W Cliff Drive and Natural Bridges State Park. The house was also 1/2 mile walk from Cat & Cloud coffee shop and Humble Sea Brewery. We rode the bikes at the property to the Wharf.

This was an excellent place to stay. It was clean and the host was quick to communicate Just a few minute walk to the beach was wonderful. My son in law also used to bike to get down to beach which was a nice option. It was refreshing and cozy.

Edge of the beach walk

After walking from Natural Arches to Steamer Lane Supply for coffee and donuts, we investigated the area closer to our home base. We discovered Ferrell's Donuts, Cat and Cloud coffee, Fonda Feliz coffee and pastries and lots of interesting shops and restaurants. Three couoples had a great time sharing the home and the neighborhood and will return.

Comfortable spacious rental

We enjoyed our stay with our family in Santa Cruz for a wedding. Not many true 4 bedroom homes for rent with 3 baths available in town. The property is well maintained, good wifi, tv, and the kitchen is well supplied with utensils. Janiece, the property manager, quickly responded to our questions and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok.

The host was extremely difficult to deal with, demanding a copy of my passport or Driver's License before releasing check-in information. I have never had this happen before. And then there was a lengthy 7-page list of rules and contract to sign. All for a 2-night stay! Then the passport photo copy was too blurry and had to be re-submitted. The contract demanded "renter's insurance". Then the host said "oh, ignore that." All on the same morning that we were to leave! All the back and forth delayed our departure time and was quite stressful to deal with.

Great location

Perfect for a quick drive to Natural Bridges stare park to either watch for Monarch butterflies or play on the beach. Also great to get to West Cliff drive for a beautiful stroll along the coast.

We would come back again

The house was great. The kids' room is adorable, and we appreciated all of the bikes and toys left for us to enjoy. Great proximity to the beach, with a free State Park pass - thanks! The garbage was really full, and we didn't know whether to put the bins out on garbage day. We didn't know it was garbage day until we heard the trucks the next morning, so we left them even more full. It would have been nice to know about that. Also, The manager wasn't there upon arrival, as expected, to give me the new entry code. If the housekeepers hadn't still been there when we arrived, we would not have known how to get in the house.

Good Space and Location

Beds and bedding were comfortable, Lots of towels, liked all the beach stuff, and fire pit. Couldn’t seem to get lamps in some bedrooms to work, ants in master bathroom, and some kitchen pans were old and rusty.

Nice location well appointed

A nice location close to a small beach and nature area and only minutes from the Boardwalk area. The home is well equipped for a full family of both adults and children. The jogging stroller was particularly helpful and the bikes and beach toys welcome. We made good use of both the full kitchen and the gas BBQ. I expect that we will be back.

This house worked great for extended family - 4 bedrooms! Everything worked well and we loved the bikes! Janiece, our manager was super great to work with - she responded immediately to any questions. We totally enjoyed this house! Thank you!

Good Location--But.....

The location of this house is its greatest advantage. Unfortunately, the promised pass to Natural Bridges State Park was not honored. The existing pass had expired, and when we contacted the property manager, she promised she would deliver a current pass but that did not occcur. I would never rent a property again that did not allow you to wear shoes in the house which is the case with this property. The house could use some upgrades (plumbing is very noisy and the icemaker doesn't work).

Wedding Weekend

We had a great time. The spacious house was everything I imagined it would be. My son's wedding was the center attraction. Wish I had more time to visit and enjoy the area. We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evening.
