Lovely place to stay. Close to public transportation and all the things we wanted to do while there. Had everything we needed and Ruth was great to work with!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was conveniently located in a residential area close to public transportation. The space was comfortably furnished with little touches. The host was very responses to any questions even though she was on vacation. Would stay there again.

A beautiful apartment in a fantastic location with a very responsive host. We visited Salzburg with our 3 year old daughter and thoroughly recommend staying here.
This was a perfect getaway in a quiet part of town. It is very close to a bus line that will get you all over Altstadt. Very clean, plenty of room, overall a wonderful place to stay. Dr. Ruth was very communicative and helpful!

Would thoroughly recommend this apartment. In a quiet, safe part of town, close to lots of bus stops including the bus to the airport. The owner is very attentive and left helpful tips on local amenities - restaurant recommendations were particularly helpful. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
I appreciated the personal communication from the owner, answering quickly and clearly all questions, both email and phone. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. Quiet neighborhood. Uber served well for day trips. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Our visit to Salzburg was perfect, the apartment was exactly what we wanted. It was a short walk to the old town which was great, as parking is difficult and expensive.

Good location in Salzburg. 20 min easy walk to center of Salzburg. Quiet, upscale neighborhood with good parking. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was adequately stocked for eating meals if desired. Very easy check in. Living room is large and very comfortable. Lots of windows for fresh air. Walking distance to a market that had anything we needed.

The apartment was very spacious and exceptionally clean. Small things like paper towels tissues and a well stocked kitchen made it easier for a short stay. Ruth was ready to communicate with, responsive and she has an on site English speaking neighbor who was also very helpful. Ready bus trip to old town. Highly recommend.

Dear guests
I am so happy you were satisfied with the apartment and enjoyed your stay. Welcome back anytime.

This is a great place to stay in Salzburg. It's a short walk to the bus stop and you can easily get anywhere in Salzburg from there. The unit is quite spacious and very clean and comfortable. Ruth, the host, is very responsive and there's a binder in the unit with tips and recommendations for Salzburg that we found very helpful. Unfortunately, we were not able to use the laundry while we were there because it's one washer and dryer shared for all the units in the building but it wasn't a big deal. Just be aware that you might not be able to use it because it might be busy. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place. It's very comfortable and well appointed.
A home from home, excellent facilities and perfect location for sightseeing in Salzburg on foot. The apartment was spotlessly clean, close to a small supermarket, everything close enough to walk to, especially the Augustiner brewery with lots of seating and food stalls. Safe off road parking for our motorbike. Just perfect thank you Dr Ruth.

Great apartment in a quiet neighborhood close to Old Town
We had a great stay at Ruth's property. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the apartment was very roomy and had a nice balcony off one of the bedrooms. Kitchen was well equipped. Ruth was easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. Highly recommend.

About the host
Hosted by Dr. Ruth Dick
Hi, I'm Ruth I work as a psychlogist and as a homeopathic practitioner and I have been living in the beautiful Pinzgauer Alps since 1973 , in a little village called Gries, 90 kilometers south of Salzburg. Before, I lived in Viena-Austria, Sao Paulo- Brasil and Chicago- USA . I have a wonderful 38 year old son who studied Philosophy in Vienna. My hobbies: I adore travelling, photography, gardening, reading, classical music and meeting interesting people . My favorite travel destinations are the far East (so far I have been in China, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapure, Indonesia (Bali), Malaysia), Taiwan, Japan, Sri Lanka, Maledive Island; New Zealand , French Polynesia and Samoa; South America (Brasil, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador). I have also been to Central America (so far Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic), Africa (Kenia, Egypt, Marocco, Tunisia), USA, Canada and Europe (Norway, Holland, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Poland, CSSR, Germany, Hungary, Croatia, Greece etc.) I have been on Vrbo for about 12 years and I love this site. I have been renting holiday apartments in Salzburg for about 20 years and truly enjoy the contact with my guests, although unfortunately I am not always able to meet them personally. In case I can't, I send them instructions how to open the doors with the electronic locks and informations about the apartments, and if I am traveling, or am not in Salzburg there is a neighbor who speaks perfect English, Spanish, Dutch and German and who takes care of my apartments and my guests while I am not there.
Why they chose this property
it is in a pretty and quiet neighborhood just 15 walking minutes from the historical center. It has a private parking place for each apartment, which is a great advantage in Salzburg and it is in a small house with only 6 apartments. There are several restaurants close by and the bus stop is just 4-5 walking minutes away. I used to live in this apartment 20 years ago and find it very comfortable and cosy. It is very well equipped, you won't miss anything.
What makes this property unique
Family friendly, proximity to center, private parking, quiet neighborhood, especially well equipped kitchen for guests who like to cook, 65 inch smart TV with Netflix and Disney+, good quality hotel slippers for each guest .
