Set in its own large grassed garden area, ideal for children and pets, this also affords ample parking. Walking, running and cycling are popular activities, and the official Glencoe to Oban cycle/walking path (Route 78) passes nearby. Cycle hire, boat hire and horse riding are also available locally. The foot ferry, 3 miles, takes visitors to the beautiful island of Lismore via a short crossing. Set almost midway between Oban and Fort William, it is an ideal base from which to explore the beauty of the surrounding area. Golf courses can be found in Oban, Ballachulish and Fort William. Glencoe and Fort William offer mountain climbing, walking and skiing in season. Oban offers boat trips to the Islands, including Mull and Iona. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Spacious, well equipped

An excellent position for exploring Oban, Glencoe and Fort William. Visited Lismore and Kerrera - peaceful islands. Enjoyed the walking and views. Recommend The Old Inn, best to book as very good repuration.

Picture postcard setting in a beautiful area of Scotland.

Picture postcard setting in a beautiful area of Scotland. The dogs really loved running around in the large, grassy garden and the bungalow was very cosy and comfortable for both humans and the dogs. Has amazing places to eat nearby like The Old Inn and the Pierhouse. We enjoyed day trips out to Oban, the Nevis range, Luing and Castle Tioram, all within easy reach of Appin. Love this part of the world, even when raining!
