The front door of this delightful cottage opens into a spacious and comfortably furnished lounge, featuring two three-seater sofas and an armchair arranged around an original decorative fireplace, a Smart TV, a window seat, and toasty underfloor heating. From the lounge, head through to the light and airy kitchen/diner where the underfloor heating continues, and you’ll find a dining table with seating. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you will need to rustle up a tasty treat, including an electric oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and microwave/grill.
Downstairs is a cloakroom with WC. Upstairs there is the family bathroom which features a shower, a separate bath, and a WC and two large bedrooms; 1 with a KIng-Size bed and a large family room with a Double bed and bunk beds.
Outside, you'll discover a pretty garden which offers comfortable seating which can be enjoyed throughout the day. If you bring your bikes with you to explore the Crab & Winkle Way or Saxon Shore Line, you can store them in the shed. There is unrestricted roadside parking opposite the property subject to availability.
There is free street parking on the road and surrounding roads. The nearest paid parking is Victoria Street or Gladstone Road car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc.

There are frequent busses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Harbour Street, High Street, Oxford Street etc.
The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
There are also Taxi services available for short fares or airport runs. The nearest airport is in London and the Ferry port is in Dover.
