About the host

Host profile image
Aloha, I'm Karen Muth, & my family has been fortunate to live on this beautiful property since 2009. From Oahu originally, we made the move to the Big Island & love it more everyday! My background is in hotel management & hospitality. My family also runs a bed & breakfast as well as yoga retreats. My husband Mike & I keep pretty busy in our "retirement"!

Why they chose this property

Aina Mana Hale in Hawaiian literally translates to "home on land of sacred power" & you will know the name fits the moment you arrive! The home sits on over 40 acres, half of which was used as a macadamia nut farm & half is conservation protected forest. This property is truly special & we are thrilled to be able to share it with our guests.

What makes this property unique

We personally renovated this home in 2016 & we absolutely love it! It has a large 1500 square foot floor plan, high ceilings, & tons of windows to enjoy the views & trade-winds through. Open both sets of french doors wide & enjoy the patios & the amazing ocean & valley views! The kitchen is a real pleasure to work in, with the bar counter top & seating the whole gang can join in the fun!
