Beatuifully decorated property with authentic 1970's furniture. Loved it! Also perfectly located for the town centre - just a 10 minute walk. The Globe pub was stunning with amazing food.
Had a lovely stay with friends. The property has been decorated in a fresh and fun way.
The place had a well equipped kitchen and a nice little outdoor space. Super close to town and local eateries. Would happily stay again. Thank you Helen!

Thank you. I am so glad you had a lovely stay. Hope you return soon. You were wonder guests!
We loved our stay at this incredible 70s house. Helen has thought about every detail to make your stay easy and fun (including a disco staircase!). Would thoroughly recommend.
The house is decorated amazingly and has a wonderful garden. We felt really comfortable in the house and have no complaints. The location was perfect and we could walk into the town in seconds. I did sometimes have to wait for the host to reply for several hours if not sometimes a day. Otherwise everything was perfect.
A great property to spend some time in and around Rye. Very clean, three adult suitable bedrooms, groovy back yard! Walking and trekking right outside door but close to town. And a great pub around the corner, try the chicken Currie!

Thank you so much for the lovely review! You were brilliant guests. So glad you explored the area. Helen
Excellent base to explore Rye. Quirky features. Comfortable and clean with good facilities. Lovely to have an array of outside sitting option on two very hot days! Extra treats welcome and kind. Thank you.
Helen is a wonderful host...she provided lots of information before we arrived, checked in on us (by message) to make sure all was OK, and was responsive to the one request we had to make. The house is well located, grooviliciously decorated, and very comfortable. We loved walking around Rye, and it was close enough for side trips to Canterbury, the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head, as well as Sissington Gardens. Highly recommend

So glad you had a lovely stay. Thank you for looking after the house so well. I hope you return soon.
We had a fantastic stay at River House in Rye. Even before arriving, Helen, answered any questions and sent lots of information about the house, location and things to do in the area. We thought this was a lovely touch. The arrival process was easy and on entering the house, it was exactly as imagined and just as advertised in the pictures. The house is very light and complimented by the decor. Helen left us a few items as a welcome pack and this was also a nice touch. The bottle of fizz was enjoyed in the lovely garden, which has the sun all day. Its also lovely that it backs onto the river.
The beds were super comfy and it was a fairly quiet location. We really enjoyed our stay and loved Rye. We went to a few of the places that Helen recommended and it was great to have the pub, The Globe, just up the road. It also only takes 10 mins to walk into Rye and enjoy the many shops, restaurants and bars.
We would definitely stay here again and hope that we have that opportunity. So thank you, Helen, for a fantastic stay at your lovely property,
