Perfect stay

The property was stunning and much bigger than we had expected. We had no desire to go out it because it was so nice. Gorgeous location to explore, if you can tear yourself away from the property, and there was a handy shop over the road. Loved relaxing in the peaceful garden in the sun and having a great cinema experience.

Simply stunning, loved the out door space and hot tub

Simply stunning, loved the out door space and hot tub. Really is a stunning place to stay, the chapel had been perfectly refurbished to the very highest standard. Appledore village is as quintessentially English as you can get, beautiful village with the perfect team room and welcoming pub. I thoroughly enjoyed my 4 nights, highly recommend.

Absolutely Amazing!!

Everything, the location the property the ease of booking. We had a fantastic holiday and would definitely be booking again. The only thing we struggled with was the temperature of the house, couldn’t seem to reduce the temperature so was a bit warm at times as a lot of the windows wouldn’t open, the washing machine also didn’t work, I’m the tap at the back wasn’t switched on and the water pressure to the machine is low

Highly recommend this beautiful place.

I loved the modern technology in this place, it made the stay double the fun. I loved the “bible” with all the rules and help in it, that was fab. Made everything so easy and we could refer back to it without messing around trying to work things out. The house is luxurious, all of the furniture and artwork was so nice. The cinema was very easy to use and the option for it to wipe all your accounts off it without needing to do it yourself was very nice touch. There was also a shop literally across the road which was convenient and a very nice tea room just a little walk up from there. Me and my friends had a great time and will definitely come back! Temp of the house was a bit on the warm side with not a lot of options to help cool it down as the windows shut when it rains (also very handy so we didn’t have to run around and close them) but luckily we were here in September and it didn’t affect us too much. We have a large group of friends, if there was option to add a pull out mattress or a pop up beds here or there for an extra fee we would absolutely love that to bring a couple of extra friends.

Fabulous Family Break

We enjoyed a fabulous family break at Wesleyan House. It was immediately obvious that this property has been built and presented to a very high standard. Packed full of technology, we loved the speakers built into the ceiling of most rooms, and got a lot of use out of the cinema, hot tub, and pool table. Thankfully the weather meant that we were also able to enjoy the private outside space. During our stay, we had one small issue where a curtain fell down, but the property management team quickly resolved the situation. The property is in a lovely village, which has a shop across the road, a very good pub approx 5 mins walk down the road, and a lovely tea room. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be looking to return. Cannot recommend Wesleyan House highly enough. A chest of drawers in the downstairs bedroom would be a useful addition. Also the property is listed as pet friendly, but there wasn't any provisions for dogs such as water bowls or towels for drying wet paws.
