Apartment in Carrbridge, near Aviemore
This modern one bedroom apartment is situated within the village of Carrbridge, in the Cairngorms National Park. With the train station less than a 5 minute walk away, there are easy links to Aviemore and Inverness. This apartment is an ideal location for holidays or base for exploring. There is direct access from the garden to the ancient woodland with plenty of opportunity for wildlife spotting, walking and mountain biking trails.
The space
The apartment has recently been renovated from B&B to self-contained, self-catering accommodation.
Outside, there is a covered, decked area for guest use. We ask that you are mindful that the remainder of the garden (including the trampoline) is for family use. We have 3 small children who play throughout the garden. We aim to be respectful of your privacy so you can enjoy your holiday. If there are ways we can improve please let me know.
The garden has a gate which opens directly onto the ancient woodland, allowing easy access onto the walking and biking trails.
The apartment has a shared outside door with a further door to enter the kitchen/living area.
In the shared entrance-way there is space for hanging outerwear and storing footwear.
The kitchen/living area has a full sized oven, 2-ring induction hob, dishwasher and under-counter fridge with freezer compartment.
There is a sofa-bed and dining table which can be extended if needed.
The sofa-bed is a small double and would suit 1 adult or 2 children.
The bedroom (with en-suite shower room) contains a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and occasional chair.
Guest access
The outside door and entrance-way is shared with the family.
Other things to note
We are happy to accommodate an additional small child (under 10) if they are happy to share the sofa-bed with sibling etc.
1 well behaved dog is allowed, but not in the bedroom.
We can provide a travel cot and booster seat high chair if requested. We may be able to provide additional child items upon request, please discuss with us before your stay.
There is wifi access throughout the apartment and a smart tv for streaming services.
Please be aware the village shop closes at 6pm.
Parking is to the front left of the property. We ask guests are mindful that they park within the allocated space. Access to village amenities and train station are within a short walk.
