The Moraira Nautical Club is considered one of the best sports ports in the Valencian Community and is the centre of a highly animated area. Sailing courses are organised in summer and competitions, with the most important being the Spanish Regularity Championship in June, and the Friendship Offshore Regatta, usually in September.
