Beautiful and relaxing

A gorgeous spot the property was clean and modern the steam room was a wonderful added luxury touch. The area is beautiful with stunning walks on the door step and near to Matlock town. The host was excellent and communicated well. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful Additional Space!

We rented this space in addition to the main house for our wedding weekend + my husband’s parents loved it! It’s the only space on the property with a bedroom on the ground floor so not a lot of stairs for mobile-challenged individuals and it allowed them to maintain some excellent privacy while still being close to all of the action. My mother-in-law also used the kitchen to bake a cake for our reception with ease! The little sitting room was cozy + everything nicely decorated. The gift of a bottle of Prosecco was a lovely touch + an absolute hit with my father-in-law! As I said in my review of the main house, Lizzie is so kind + an excellent host! She responded very quickly to all of my numerous planning questions before our stay and anything we needed during. Renting this space in addition to the main house allowed us to have the entire property to ourselves which made managing parking, etc much easier. The driveway takes some getting used to in larger vehicles but isn’t bad. You will definitely have to coordinate a bit with anyone else arriving at the property to find it though. There are a bunch of lovely walking paths accessible from the property both into Matlock and off towards the waterfall nearby. For feeling so secluded, the place is still very close to everything you’ll need. Can’t recommend Lizzie + her lovely accommodations enough! We can’t wait to return in the future!
