Lovely cottage 10 minutes from Ludlow and a pub (Salwey Arms) with good food 5 mins walk away. Best welcome pack I've seen including milk, bread, scones, loo roll and dog treats. Good garden for dogs.

Visited with my husband, sister and brother-in-law.
Visited with my husband, sister and brother-in-law. Lovely spacious cottage, quiet and peaceful yet not far from a main route. Nice pub serving meals and a small supermarket and petrol station within walking distance. The cottage was beautifully furnished - loved the cosy lighting - and with a very well equipped kitchen and handy downstairs toilet as well as two bathrooms upstairs. Beds and sofas all very comfortable and one of the best welcome packs I’ve seen in ages. Would have loved to have spent more time in the garden by the stream but unfortunately a bit of a cold, wet week for that. Garden great for dogs too but if they are water babies the back boundary is the stream so you would need to keep an eye on them. Good instructions for arrival - very small turning so would probably have missed it without the photo - would suggest arriving for the first time while it’s still light if you can. Parking is a bit tight but still possible if you have a big car or are taking two but we managed fine as kind lady next door offered us the use of her drive for the week. Some interesting places nearby to visit, especially if you have English Heritage or National Trust membership. We would all love to return sometime and hopefully enjoy the garden too.
