Keeper's Lodge is a purpose built, modern ground floor apartment in a stunning rural location.
Expect a warm welcome and a selection of freshly prepared cakes and biscuits on arrival. We welcome well behaved dogs (max 2) to this perfect location to explore the beautiful West Sussex and Hampshire countryside and coastline.

Note: If you wish to holiday with friends the first floor apartment Keeper's Retreat is also available at the same location. (see separate listing).

Enjoy complete privacy and peace in the stylish open plan interior.
The apartment is tastefully finished to the highest standard and offers modern and user friendly facilities throughout. Enjoy high thread count cotton bed linen and ample towels, free Wi-Fi and modern flat screen Free-sat smart TV (150 channels), a practical and modern kitchen with an electric oven, hob, fridge and microwave.

Stay cosy with easy to control underfloor heating. The bathroom boasts
a generous walk in shower and heated towel rail. Enjoy direct access through French doors to a pretty secluded patio and lawn to complete this intimate and secluded space.

A welcome pack of tea and coffee and all those cupboard and fridge basics awaits your arrival. Should you require any specific provisions, celebratory champagne or need to personalise your visit in some way we are very happy to discuss this with you prior to your visit (additional charges may apply).

We pride ourselves on a consistently high standard of cleanliness and make sure your relaxation and enjoyment are our priority. We are on hand 24/7 to answer any questions or advise/direct you during your stay.

This is the ideal place to enjoy a special occasion or a trip to the world renown Goodwood Estate for 'The Festival of Speed ','The Goodwood Revival' or the many horse racing events. Other popular nearby attractions include Chichester Festival Theatre, The Weald and Down Land Living Museum, West Dean Gardens, Chichester Harbour and Portsmouth Dockyard. (home of HMS Victory). Explore on foot or cycle in The South Downs National Park or neighbouring Stansted Estate or visit the beautiful coastline, beaches, nature reserves and many surrounding historic towns and villages.

Well behaved dogs are welcome (maximum of 2 small dogs or one no bigger than a Labrador) do make sure you add them when making your booking (we make a small charge but they will be spoilt as much as you).
Please be aware your dog must never be left unattended in the apartment or garden during your stay.


We provide secure storage for bicycles by prior arrangement.

Nicky and Peter the hosts are amazing and every little detail has been thought of from the welcome pack, kitchen essentials and dog essentials if you are travelling with your four legged companion. And all in a beautiful location.

The property was wonderful and so were the hosts, it was clean and our dog loved it with her own garden and the host had a dog bed and treats waiting on our arrival with home made cake biscuits jam and marmalade bread butter milk it was fantastic and we will be staying again

WOW, where to start.Peter & Nicky have thought of everything and some to make Keepers Lodge very much a home from home -it’s beautifully presented.Of all the places I’ve stayed with my faithful Furball this is top of the charts for his comfort and needs. From the dog bed, towels & treats, he was definitely spoilt. I always worry, especially in the wet months with muddy walks, meaning muddy footprints. But I was assured this wasn’t an issue. A secure garden for those late night and early morning wees was also a plus point. The welcome pack for me was very much appreciated. Oh and the shower is to die for, I could have stayed under it all night!! Well done Peter & Nicky, I shall be recommending Keepers Lodge.

Hi everyone I am Nicky and together with my husband Peter we host Keeper's Retreat and Keeper's Lodge. I have been lucky enough to live in this area all my life and we have lived in Keeper's house adjacent to our apartments for over twenty years. We love sharing our home with our many visitors and have taken great pride in making our accommodation everything you would expect from an elegant and stylish country retreat. Our many guests appear to love it so far but we are never complacent. We continue to learn and strive on an ongoing basis to improve our visitor experience.

Set in the heart of the South Downs National Park and immediately adjacent to the beautiful Stansted Estate. This Idyllic rural setting provides a real 'Escape to the Country' and yet is deceptively close to an array of great places to visit. You can relax and unwind knowing so many interesting and beautiful things to see are just a few minutes drive away.
This is the perfect dog friendly base for exploring the Hampshire and West Sussex countryside and coastline. A walking and cycling haven close to Chichester and Portsmouth and a popular spot for the world renown Goodwood Festival of Speed and Revival enthusiasts.

Keeper's Lodge is secreted adjacent to our own recently renovated 1920's farm cottage, a completely independent and purpose built building which houses both Keeper's Retreat(first floor) and the ground floor apartment Keeper's Lodge. It comfortably accommodates two people and is the ideal spot for a romantic short break or longer holiday.

Enjoy complete privacy and peace in the lodge's stylish and open plan interior. Modern and super-insulated you are kept cosy warm in winter and cool and comfortable in summer.
