We found the location with no problem. Michael greeted us and showed us around. The unit is lovely, with everything needed to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. We appreciated the coffee and scones, and also Janet’s advice about touring around the area, particularly the tip about Brigit’s Garden. We would not hesitate to stay here again and hope the opportunity arises!
It was a great experience. The hosts were super nice, with cookies, little treats, and everything else you need in the apartment—a perfect stay! We felt very comfortable.
A perfect respite in one of the far reaches along the Wild Atlantic. Janet, Michael, and their dog Riley gave me a home away from home feeling. Beautiful sleep, beautiful waking and miles of walking.
The unit is nicely decorated and comfortable. Very comfortable bed, and well equipped kitchen. Easy to access. The location is good for visiting lots of WAWay points. This is not a bad review, but just something we wish we had know ln beforehand-the unit overlooks the carpark for the glamping site, which is a little disappointing. We also had a few people come to the unit (one couple even just walked in!) to ask for directions to the glamping site; we explained we were also on holiday and this is a holiday let, but helped them anyway. However, one couple became a little hostile when we explained the situation and they said ‘there is a sign stating this is the office outside so that’s why we came in’. So I may suggest removing this to avoid this happening to future guests as this sadly made us feel a little uncomfortable whilst in the unit-therefore spent most of our time out and about. Would also be good to have an enclosed garden/seating area rather than allowing other dogs and people to walk directly through as our dog is very nervous and this sadly made her more so. Overall, a nice place but maybe make a few changes to help future guests.

Hi Jo I am sorry to hear this. All our guests are specifically instructed not to call at the cottage. We even message them just before their arrival time to reinforce this. We will definitely remove the sign now. Thank you for letting us know.

Lovely, quiet, well equipped place … perfect for launching off North or South, exploring the Wild Atlantic Way.
The communication was excellent, and we gleaned much useful information from the owner. She made great cake too! 😀
Lovely property. Well equipped. Tastefully decorated. Peaceful setting , short walk to pier and beach. Also short walk to local shop. Friendly hosts and lots of information in house about locality and things to do.
This was a fantastic stay! The home is quite comfortable and well equipped. It sits on a beautiful parcel and has lots of nearby coastline to explore within walking distance. We used it as a base to explore the whole region. We stayed in 5 different places over our month long adventure and this was our favorite by far!
