Known throughout the world as the city built on water, given its construction on 100 islands in the lagoon, Venice is one of Italy's most popular locations worldwide.
It is a real open-air museum, thanks to its historical and artistic heritage made of churches, palaces, and museums.
Strolling through Venice is like diving in the past: the so-called calli (streets) are dotted and framed by aristocratic buildings such as the Doge's Palace, the historic home of the Doges, spectacular bridges including the famous Rio Alto Bridge, and canals navigable by gondolas, waterbuses, and boats of all kinds.
The heart of the city is the enchanting St. Mark's Square, which houses the Basilica of the same name and welcomes thousands of tourists from all over the world every day.
The most famous local event is definitely the Carnival, thanks to its centuries-old tradition of masks and costumes that enliven the streets every year.
Last but not least, the famous "Bàcaro Tour" is a must: a tour among taverns where to taste local wine along with cicheti, typical Venetian tasty bites.
The accommodation is 2km from Venice Santa Lucia Station and less than 13km from Venice Marco Polo Airport.

There was a bad smell in the kitchen/dining area, which another guest also has mentioned/noticed, but nothing has been done about it.
The pictures in the
advertisement shows an appartment which is decorated with flowers/plants and other decorations - this is not present in the appartment. There is a large empty bookcase - really strange.
The kitchen/living room is missing light /is very dark.
Broken fixtures in the bathroom has not been repaired.
The extra bedroom shown in the advertisement is not the one, which is present in the appartment. The one in the appartment is much smaller.
We missed the extra nice things like coffee and tee in the appartment.
Overall - the appartment needs some improvement, because it could be a really good experience and a nice stay in Venice, but it is not.
The large bedroom is quite nice.

Great location and loved it!
Great location and beautiful apartment! It was clean, the air conditioning worked excellent, and the kitchen had everything we neeed to prepare a few meals. We were even able to do a load of laundry since we had been traveling. Although, the bathroom shower looked liked it had recently had a panel of glass broke and they did a quick fix with a shower curtain. The problem was the shower curtain was a bit of a distance from the shower. Also, check in is at a separate location and then we had to wait until exactly 3pm for the door lock code to be texted to me. I actually had to call to get the code. Overall though is was perfect for my family of five adults and I would stay there again. We rented design two which had only one flight of stairs to the apartment and they were very easy to manage.
