Set in the hills behind Menaggio, with panoramic views over Lake Como, this romantic apartment makes an excellent base for exploring Como and the surrounding area. The apartment is on the first floor of an attractive residence and sleeps 4 people. It is just a 20-minute walk (5-minute drive) from the lake.

The apartment is decorated in a contemporary style, with an open-plan living area, and glass sliding doors out onto a balcony, overlooking the lake. The balcony is furnished with a table and chairs for outdoor dining. Back indoors there is a sofa and flat-screen TV. The dining table with 4 chairs is next to the kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with an induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.

Open stairs lead up to the mezzanine bedroom.

Bedroom: The bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable double bed.

Location
The elegant residence is in a quiet location but there is easy access to many restaurants and other amenities. There is also a restaurant/pizzeria on the ground floor. For guests who want to cook for themselves, Menaggio’s farmers market takes place on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. Here you will find the best local ingredients.

The town of Menaggio is charming and not as busy as some of the others on the lake. It has a lovely square with a wide choice of cafés, restaurants and shops. Guests can take a ferry from Menaggio (9 minute drive) to Varenna or on to Bellagio and spend a day in these famously beautiful towns.

For visitors who are looking for more excitement, there is Lake Como Adventures (20 minute drive), for a wide range of activities including climbing, canyoning, hiking and skiing in the winter months. In addition, guests can try sailing at Nobiallo (10 minute drive) or kite surfing at Pianello del Lario (20 minute drive).

Milan’s international Linate airport is a 1 hour 50 minute drive from the apartment and Milan Malpensa airport 1 hour and 40 minutes away.
