Charming and capacious, Bush Barn House was ideal for our extended family of ten to stay in while attending a family wedding in Robertsbridge. The house is very well equipped with nooks and crannies to explore and walks from the house to enjoy. We loved the Arts and Crafts architecture.
Get together for 80th birthday family gathering. The place was perfect for the overflow family. Location was bang in the middle of all the events. Great local pubs. Robertsbridge is a lovely village 3 minutes drive away
This property was perfect for our family Birthday Celebrations. We needed a property with 5 bedrooms to fit us all in.The house was spotless in side and has been tastefully modernised to meet today’s requirements from a period property. The downstairs layout is perfect for a larger group with plenty of space.Everything you could possibly need is available within the house. The gardens are extensive/rustic and perfect for a barbecue.Access to the property is down a small lane so you should be prepared for an appropriate level of isolation. We will return to Bush Barn House.
We loved everything about this house: its character, the beautiful period details in every room and the warm atmosphere that made us feel at home straight away. The perfect venue for a celebratory weekend for two young families and Granny! All the rooms are large, the bathrooms are well appointed, and the lovely kitchen has an old-fashioned charm but with modern top of the range appliances. The grounds are beautiful and safe for children to explore. Nearby there are National Trust properties, the Great Dixter gardens and of course, the Kent & East Sussex Railway, a great hit with children and adults alike.
Our hosts, Laura and Napier, had sent us a detailed house manual which made settling in quick and easy. On our arrival, Napier gave us a tour of the house and garden, which was much appreciated.
Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!
